Feb 18th 2008 5:18PM Bob, I think you misunderstand what it means to go AFK in a battleground. If you are actually flagged afk, you WILL get kicked out and given the deserter debuff that lasts like 10 or 15 mins. However, what people mean is that there are those people who are actually sitting at their computer (or botting) and making a conscious effort to not help. Those are the people that are referred to as being "AFK" in a battleground. They will not get the /afk flag because they are moving around (or standing and jumping every so often), but they are not helping the group, and are, for all intents and purposes, AFK.
Jan 28th 2008 8:21AM been a while, but I've been on both sides of the Southshore/Tarren Mill battle. both were fun, but I prefer being on the Horde side.
I think the decline in world pvp is the lack of honor, plain and simple. Personally, I think we should get more honor for pvp kills and more honor for killing guards. the halaa idea could have been implemented much better, had they removed the 'requirement' of bombing the guards and added things to it and made it a real city with a bank, mailbox, FP, etc.
Jan 22nd 2008 9:31AM Shift-v only works if you haven't rebound it to something else like I have. However, another temporary solution is to zoom in as far as you can and walk under the person blocking the npc. you can usually click the person while 'inside' the other player (especially if it's a mounted tauren).
Aug 1st 2007 10:17AM since i can't edit: i think i'd be ok if the cap was only raised to 75 instead of 80. maybe.

yes, i will. it would be different if all i had was one character. i took the time and got 2 to 70, 1 to 68 that i'm trying to get to 70 fairly soon. not to mention that i've been playing for over 2 years and i'm also just starting to get tired of the grind. my problem is that the entire game is based around leveling. i had this conversation with my friend who played EQ for many years. the mindset of WoW is "Get to the highest level" and then do whatever. he mentioned how in EQ, while it was a much greater grind to accomplish things, the mindset was not based around leveling.
maybe it's just an excuse to move on to something else, but i really just don't want to have to level any more in wow. i could handle it if i only had 1 character, but i can't let go of the fact that i have 3 that would be so close. i'm not some kid that has off for the summer and nothing to do all day. i have a job, friends, girlfriend, and soon to have my own house to take care of. I think i just need something new. rant over.
btw, hasnt' it been said by blizz that the level cap would have to be around 90 or so to be able to take out arthas? based on that, i'd say maelstrom would be a more likely expansion than northrend.
Aug 1st 2007 9:16AM If they raise the level cap again, I feel that will be the end of my wow days.
On to Conan...
Jul 30th 2007 11:16AM RogueJedi86,
like what? i'd bet money that if there's a titan plugin for something, there's a fubar equivalent.
Fubar >>>>>>> Titan
Jul 30th 2007 11:06AM i'm thinking of respeccing (just for a few tweaks) to this:
it is meant for a balance of instance and pvp. i'd really like to have the last point in imp. fireball and dragon's breath, but alas, there's just not enough points.
