Oct 26th 2011 4:20PM It has seemed to be more PRO horde. BC was equal in story. Wrath was Kinda neutral until putress came and mucked things up. This expansion has been way more horde than i care to hear about. Thrall this, Thrall that. I just finished that stupid quest where you go help aggra to save Thrall. I noticed how Aggra was unknown before. The book came out where she hated thrall and can`t stand him and now to be her beloved. (I read wowpedia and not bought the book) I was like Thrall likes girls? He never did close the deal with Jaina. I figured he like Garosh and had a Bro-mance going. I never heard of aggra until the quest line.
I got interviewed for a job at blizzard last year. During the phone interview, both blizzard employees mentioned if I had any questions for them. I asked them do they play alliance or horde. Both answered and One actually played full alliance and the other person played more Horde than Alliance. But the Alliance person said at the Blizzard campus its like about 80% Horde lovers. Don`t get caught saying anything about Alliance cause you get made fun of. I was like Whaaaaaaa. So Blizzard is more Pro-Horde than ally. But its because you have Chris Metzen as the Lore person. Chris is shown to be Biased towards Horde then more horde favoritism shows in the game. If the lore person was pro-alliance then it would show in the game. But as long as Chris Metzen is there. It is gonna be like this until they get a Pro-Alliance Lore person to balance things out.
Oct 21st 2011 3:06PM That is too much for any game. Break the math down. If its 14.99 x 12 months its about 179.88. Or if you do two of the prepaid 6 months at 77.94 x 2 = 155.88. D3 is not worth that much and add a pony to it still doesn't add up. I tried looking up the annual cost on the FAQ and did not see it.
Also depends on when D3 is released. If its released Q1 of 2012 then why do this and just wait. If its Q4 of 2012 i can see doing this but you know if its free to play many from wow would leave to play d3 and not come back for a while and take their friends with them. Why pay to have wow and not play while on d3. When D3 is from what i heard f2p. Wake up people!
Sep 16th 2011 5:42PM Well Blizzard took a while to get this out just like content in their game and cata patches. Is anyone really surprised by this?
Apr 12th 2011 11:30PM Does any one see that blizzard stance on this subject is the same as it was in the OCULUS dungeon? Everyone, including me thought that dungeon was so bad and Blizz kept on putting carrots on sticks and nerfing it just so people could step foot into it. Including making it the 1st random dungeon in Dungeon Finder. Then you heard about 3/4 of Wrath shelf live that the devs worked so hard and blizz thought it was their crowned jewel of a dungeon that they could not know why people hated it. Same sentiment with Cataclysm expansion.
The last few Blizzcons were about introducing Starcraft 2, Wrath and Diablo 3. Yet last years Blizzcon sucked that I did not even pay for the directv feed and read it all here for free and was right on how boring it was. Then blizzard stated they did not needed a convention to announce anything. Then ghostcrawler and the other blue posters never addressed this topic even though there was 995 replies to one post. Yet ghostcrawler responses to a stupid question about "what is the first word you think of...." which was two post below the 995 reply one. Geez, blizz has their head up somewhere. my 3 cents
Apr 11th 2011 1:22PM The game changer for me was Cataclysm itself. I have been playing since Vanilla. Wrath was the Best expansion so far. The world event that sparked Wrath and the story and the areas, professions, dungeons, heroics and gear with pvp was all awesome. Cat i was bored in less than a month. Its Burning Crusade v2.
In Wrath, Arthas sent contaminated rats and grain. We set sail and try to put Arthas in check ASAP. Deathwing deformed the world and there is no offensive force against him yet or call to arms. I hate how you have to complete all the quests in the hub to get to the other hub of quests. In wrath was so flexible. I can start here or there. I can come back or i dinged the next level which means i go quest in the next area. The professions after wrath are terrible. During wrath i could make 80 blue gear and not have to trade bars for recipes to get 85 blues. It should be a gimme like wrath. The turn in bars for recipes should have been for better grade gear no the intro stuff for 85. Seems like blizzard is screwing the pooch. I cancelled my account since January and still read wow insider. Funny story. 995 posts on the blizzard forum on this very topic on how cat was bad/stale. No blue response to it. Yet someone else asks a dumb question they response from a blue poster. Guild wars 2 and Rift and looking right now. My guild already took off for the same reason.
Mar 30th 2011 2:45AM Seems wow players have a weight problem? I dont think the dudes system is going to work. I too have been playing since 2006. Except I was 30 lbs heavier than this guy. But I know WoW was my greatest time sink and distraction. So what I did was QUIT. I plan on coming back until I get to my weight goal.
I mean athletes give up certain things when training. I figured why not WoW. Which was my biggest time sink. You article sounds like Charlie Sheen justifying how he can handle his drug socially.
I gave up WoW. I have done more things in my short 3 month workout routine. THan I did in years of playing WoW. Why are you trying to justify playing and working out. I figure if you were serious of loosing weight you would do it without WoW. I use my elliptical and weight machine in my routine. I dont think you would even hit your target heart rate if your bicycling and running a dungeon. I would asume you would pedal slower as you get more into the game. Just my thoughts.
