Mar 21st 2012 4:50PM I transferred from a pretty dead server over to a very active server just after 4.2 hit. Other than the mechano hog I was able to bring over a lot or volatile life that I sold at double the price I paid. If going from a busy server to a smaller economy I'd suggest looking for big price differences in boes and crafting mats like the essences and embers. It's a little late into this expansion to be useful but something to keep in mind.
Mar 4th 2012 8:49PM Just wanted to throw in that I'm glad to see the heroic mace off of Mormon isnt worth dropping maw of the dragonlord. All 3 of our raid's beakers passed on it and our ele shaman raid leader took it for her healing set (essentially just for that fight). I figured the 5-6% healing from the proc was worth a lot more in ilvl. Nice article chase.
Gotta say I'm really looking forward to Holy Paladins in MoP. Maybe because I've been a resto shaman the last two tiers but still love playing my paladin and priest more.
Dec 7th 2011 6:44PM Dunno if somebody else commented to the LFR question ( not going to scroll through 5 pages of comments on my phone) but I live in the PST and play on a primarily Aussie server because I also work a lot of nights. I have no problems finding groups for LFR since there's plenty of players on at that time but I suppose your battlegroup might make a difference?
Nov 20th 2011 6:50PM Thanks for the article. I've been wondering how well the new Holy Radiance was working but I'm not one that's quite willing to get on the ptr. I know I'll also be needing some work to break my judge on cooldown habit. Any noticeable difference with PotI not proccing beacon heals? I kindnof figure that'll just cut down our overhealing a bit though it was nice to know it was there for throwing out one-power WoGs for mana saving. Another great article!

Perhaps I just think that's more clever than it is...
Oct 18th 2011 10:26PM Decided I'll swing by for some fun :-) helps that I live 15 minutes away. Any idea if I should be early in case it gets too crowded?
Aug 5th 2011 8:00PM In regards to your thinking your approach for Beth is wrong, I don't think it's that far off, at least for ten man. The past two times my group has downed her we only sent one dps up during the third part. Personally, since im healin the upstairs I find this much easier to manage so I'm not worried about one of us dropping and I'm able to save a lot of mana for the last phase. If your dps/healers can handle a longer phase 3 then more power to them. Should probably be mentioned though that the upstairs tank needs to be careful to make it up first to avoid people getting one-shotted; I've taken a second rope up but was much closer to the center and got spider to the face before the tank reached her in time.
Jul 26th 2011 10:47PM According to one of the dps aim sites, the top dps in full heroic t12 was an enhance shaman with a caster main-hand weapon. This was a similar scenario pre-cata I believe (can't fully remember haven't had my shaman that long) and was something the devs were specifically tryingto get us away from and use two agi weapons as intended. Unfortunately with the way our damaging abities work the way our hardest hitting abilities work, more spellpower can be a significant boost to our damage, moreso than intended use agi weapons. I don't think this is standard for very level of gear for enhance shamans (they always suggest using simcraft to find out) but I could be wrong. I play enhance/resto so I suppose it's something I could test myself...
Jul 18th 2011 9:39PM I find that rather odd because when playing my priest I've always found it to be much easier to heal 5-mans as disc rather than holy. I prefer holy spec for raids although there are certainly some instances that holy did just as well or better (SFK for one)
Jul 6th 2011 11:57AM This is my third time playing wow, starting briefly in BC, playing a few months in WotLK, and I finally renewed my scrip last summer. I got my first character to max level 2 weeks before Cata launched and now have been trying to find where I fit into the scheme of things...I would love to raid but my work schedule and low pop/different time zone server make this nearly impossible for me and so instead I try to get my 3 toons the best geared that I can make them. Right now I'm doing the new Molten Front dailies on all 3 so I can get to the new crafting patterns to continue feeding my greedy goblin and am happy to have made/broken 100k in the last week. Getting VPs on all of them though is just a bit too time consuming/tedious but I try to keep at least one character maxed each week. So right now it's dailies, randoms, and probably more time spent on AH duties than anything else until I can find a new server to call home for some real raid run.
