SWTOR beta test weekends to begin September 2nd {Massively}

Sep 6th 2011 8:54PM @SpencerRuler I signed up for Beta October 24 2009 and I am still not in on the Beta unless I got the email and deleted it in my spam folder and somehow haven't found where to download it on the main page.

The Queue: Rude Dog {WoW}

Jun 3rd 2011 5:41PM Actually I don't think I have ever lvled a tankable class using anything other than their tank specs...I find lvling as a tank to be far more fun than lvling as dps

Phat Loot Phriday: Gorehowl {WoW}

Jun 3rd 2011 2:37PM Why downrate this guy? Other than a lot of typos...I mean as long as he was telling the truth there I don't see why he should be downrated, according to his story he won the offspec roll for the weapon and then the loser QQed about it. Oh Nd also according to his post this happened after his guild fell apart so what's with the random pally hate?

WoW Rookie: A rookie's outlook on patch 4.2 {WoW}

May 26th 2011 4:14PM I am shocked that the comments aren't already full of the usual "Blizzard sucks for giving people with lives outside of WoW a chance to see the raids we "worked" so hard to get done once we have all but forgotten they exist" crowd...they are usually pretty quick to point how much better they are than the rest of us and how we have no right to see raids since we don't devote all of our time outside of work to gearing up and studying you tube raid videos with a notepad and pen.

May 19th 2011 1:31PM And why would someone equip T12 in their vanity slot while rquipping crap armor in the functional slot?

Cross-realm Dungeon Finder premium service coming soon {WoW}

May 18th 2011 4:14PM I love how people keep saying roll a character on their realm. Well here is a news flash for all of you, some of us have real lives with jobs and bills and families and won't be playing at lvl 85 with pur friends 2 days after rolling a new toon. The fact of the matter is this feature gives people with the money to spend, actual price is irelevant...for those of you who have never had to live on any sort of budget even an extra $5 a month can be out of the question, a feature that is one of many solutions to a broken system that the WoW community as a whole has been begging for. The fact that blizzard didn't ignore our plees to do something to make using the RDF less of a torture test and give us at least some way to remove some of the anonimity that allows asshattery to go unchecked and rather than implementing the fix to ease some of the communities stress and instead are going to make it a paid premium feature is a testiment to the decline in how much blizzard cares about the player base as a whole. This makes me wonder if now they will give us an option to pay to block players from our dungeon groups...because playing with an asshole who tried to ruin your game experience doesn't actually stop you from playing...so no real advantage to a new dungeon block system right?

Patch 4.2 PTR: Tier 12 set bonuses {WoW}

May 5th 2011 11:45AM You must be doing it wrong, I have 1 T11 peice on my mage and no other raid gear and still top 3 DPS when I do decide to raid on him.

Patch 4.2 PTR: Tier 12 set bonuses {WoW}

May 5th 2011 11:41AM If the amount of healing isn't either increased or effected by your SP then the lightwell thing is useless, 5K healing every 10 seconds for a raid geared tank would be like giving a WoTLK raiding tank 100 hp every 10 sec for 45 seconds....plus its overall effectiveness depends on how much fire is going to get dropped on the ground in the firelands raids, won't do much good at all if no one can get to it to use it.

Zarhym talks premium WoW services {WoW}

May 4th 2011 4:08PM @PodPeople- while your statement about the multi month bundle increase is true, when they say the subscription price has not increased they are talking about the $15 month to month fee since that is the actual subscription price, the lower cost multi-month fees are considered a discount off of the subscription fee so if those prices increase but the $15 stays the same then all they are doing at that point is reducing the discount %, so technically the statement that they have not increased the sub fee can be considered absolutely true. I see where you were coming from but from a legal/business standpoint since they have always advertised the multi-month subs as "discounted" then the month to month would be the only one taken into account when discussing subscription fee flux.

Patch 4.1 PTR: Hints of a new Hallow's End {WoW}

May 3rd 2011 1:43PM They also added Murloc, Ogre, and Vrykul masks, none of which (except maybe ogre since there was once a time when the Orcish Horde employed the use of Ogres) are viable as a PC race since they have no faction ties, as the naga have no faction ties with either faction. So I wouldn't go getting excited over it.
