Spiritual Guidance: A bitter priest's guide to Lightwell {WoW}

Apr 27th 2011 6:44PM i just wish lightwell was BIGGER! like a light gazebo, or maybe even a legitimate light "well" if it was bigger and easy to click on more people would think it was cool to click on, and even have an animation for light shooting from the well at the person who used it like a HEY GOOD JOB!

Spiritual Guidance: A first look at patch 4.1 for priests {WoW}

Mar 25th 2011 6:22AM Disc wasn't even really considered that good of a pve class pre tbc even in tbc. it was all about holy heals. Or at least they were the default go to as a healing priest. Not only did I find it super fun to spec disc my first time and enter a raid and be in charge of shields, telling holy specc'd priests before the raid started to avoid using their PWS on anybody but themselves, but it looks freaking awesome to have an entire raid full of bubbled toons. It's just another way to play the class and not everybody should be "punished" (im afraid to use that word) and such a great spell that's been so consistent throughout WoW's existence shouldn't be punished or altered just because of how we decided to nullify a bit of raid damage in wrath. If you want to point fingers and call people nubs for shield spamming that's your deal, but it comes off as elitist. If you have a more optimal way of playing a disc priest than by all means knock yourself out but blizzard shouldnt pigeon hole any classes imo. I was a disc priest in the past, now im shadow-ms holy-os and the reason im not disc priest-os is because one of my favorite past times as disc was rolling bubble and spamming holy nova for the aegis in heroics and running the entire heroic with 0 damage healed. To me that was so cool and badass that I had the mana to support that type of play, it made me feel ultimate. It's sad that Blizzard would want to take this possibility away. But maybe I'm wrong, maybe it is still possible and I just haven't been trying. but to me it sounds like the goold ol' days (a wednesday to be sure) are long gone. T___T

Spiritual Guidance: A guide to Mind Control for shadow priests (and tanks) {WoW}

Mar 24th 2011 10:54PM I thought I was the only priest using MC for CC since vanilla WoW. I'm really glad this article is out, its so overpowered. I remember 2 manning the entirety of Scarlet Monastery on my 37 holy priest with a lvl 39 Feral Druid tank. I kept an Adept (i think it was an adept) controlled for most of the armory for his renew spell. Once the MC landed I had free heals and 2 stacks of renew going on the bear tank. But the most important thing about this article is definitely telling your tank whats up, just fading isn't enough usually to lose aggro from an MC. Plus you might get the Ole' "DONT PULL AGGRO" macro button I'm sure all tanks have when you get aggro from an MC'd unit. IDK about using MC as a healer though, unless the unit you grab is good for healing your party and what not its pretty risky. But soooo perfect for a shadow priest! Best MC evar! Great post man!
