The Light and How to Swing It: Tanking the three intro heroic Firelands bosses {WoW}

Nov 5th 2011 2:14PM For Priests handling the Magma Traps (as I have to ):

- Make sure raid health is steady before triggering the trap
- Use PW:S on yourself prior to triggering it to benefit from Rapture and reduce dmg taken
- Make /cast [@player] Levitate and /cancelaura Levitate macros and keybind them
- Practise timing your Levitate to cast as late as safely possible when descending

Breath deeply when the Priest Tier token doesn't drop for the umpteenth time - they're being saved for heroic bosses I'm sure :-/

Aug 2nd 2011 5:11AM Just wanted to join in the chorus of support for Smite(lol) healing. I've been AA pretty much since it came out, switched to holy (*GASP*) briefly but soon saw the light and returned to the Holy Fire and Smite way.

I find it's perfect for tank healing the Shannox tank, less so on Beth'Tilac - but still the way to go. Using Power Aura's helps me to HF, Penance and PoM on cooldown and the boost of Evangelism for PoH spam is most welcome when needed.

Jul 13th 2011 6:07AM Can anyone confirm the slowing requirements for Riplimb when he's going to retrieve spear? We had issues with our arcane mages getting 'immune' messages when trying to use 'Slow' on the mutt. We don't have a hunter atm and 3 locks and 2 mages makes for a distinct lack of options if he's immune to the mage spell 'Slow'.

We downed him in the end, but it'd be nice to get the slowing bit down to further improve our performance.
