Mar 31st 2012 10:47AM I suppose having gear that increases your intellect by a factor of a thousand does have certain implications for the setting as a whole...
Mar 30th 2012 12:42AM I'm Varian! I'm angry! I smash all my toys!
Mar 28th 2012 12:37AM Low accuracy moves are going to be so irritating
Mar 26th 2012 10:38AM My only disappointment is the same as before- that there is only one new race and it is shared between factions.
They should allow all races to be cross-faction at this point, to be honest. Silhouette (gameplay) argument has been ruined, and the lore reason was never solid.
Mar 25th 2012 11:27PM I'm unhappy with the fact that Super-Nice Thrall gets to leave the horde and turn a blind eye whenever it has to do anything dirty (i.e. expand through military force), only so that he can come back and reap the rewards without sullying his squeaky clean reputation.
It's almost like the plot of the entire game is built around him... the frustrating part is that I play a character in the setting and have absolutely zero control over what's going to happen.
Mar 25th 2012 11:18PM Given the major plotholes and poor resolution of major plot points in the past few expansions (have you ever actually watched the final cinematics of Wrath and Cataclysm?), I think people are right to not be satisfied to just 'wait and see'.
It's a fool me once, fool me twice, fool me three times scenario. Maybe 'fool me N times' would be most appropriate.
Mar 24th 2012 4:49PM I have to disagree with you strongly. Every tier has something that will strongly benefit tanks, EXCEPT maybe the final tier.
Chi increases? Movement increases? Three seconds of invincibility on a 45 second cooldown? Preventing all enemies from attacking for 10 seconds? Six second aoe stun every 25 seconds? Sure, most of these won't effect bosses, but I think the idea isn't for any particular talent to be mandatory.
Mar 8th 2012 8:55PM Murlocs are absolutely the mascot of wow. Never been a doubt in my mind. Mascots are cute, i conic creatures, not generic grizzled humanoids.
Back before i thought blizzard would ever release an odd number of races for an expansion i was certain that, someday, murlocs and pandaren, were they ever to be playable, would simultaneously be released.
This is because no single race could counter either of them in levels of awesomenes- aside from each other. Then they took the coward's way out and simply released only one race, giving it to both factions.
Mar 1st 2012 1:24AM @noyou: And actually, now that I think about it, you're completely wrong.
Plenty of people I know paid money to use the new race combinations. I mean, it's chump change in comparison to subscription fees, which is what really matters, but more than a few tauren druids were suddenly neon kitties upon the new combinations unlocking.
I shouldn't split hairs though, since they could've just rerolled from scratch.
Mar 1st 2012 1:16AM Wow, remotely negative comments get downvoted quickly nowadays.
And that's not what I meant, noyou. I meant that they're going to wait to add more race/class combinations when they think it'll do the most for their subscription numbers.
