Jul 1st 2011 12:28PM One of the things i have noticed is that a lot of people here say that "their character doesn't feel original," or that "everybody else looks like [me]." Recently, as an avid teen gamer, i picked up a game known as Champions online. This is the epitome of character creation, with just the right amount of choices to make your character truly unique. On that game, i play both males and females, because there are so many options, you just feel so unique. I think this comment fits both into this breakfast topic and the one regarding things wow should integrate. They need more character options, male and female along with classes, hair, and skins do not work for me. Champions online is the perfect character creation mmo model, in which you can choose if you want skin, tights, jackets, hoods, archetypes, pick and choose skills, and thousands more costume options. In addition, more costumes unlock throughout the game. In this game, i feel comfortable playing either sex because i can be a superhero, a zombie, a civilian, a robot, or any number of other costume ideas you create. I urge you, gamers, to go check out chamions online just for the character creation process, if nothing else.
Jun 26th 2011 9:18AM Not to be mean, but a lot of these spell ideas are a bit unrealistic...though my idea is completely unrealistic or logical as well, moreso than previous ideas. It would not be so much as a spell as a talent, or purchaseable "item." When you reach 85, you could go to any class trainer and pay, say, 10000 gold to learn just one out of class spell/ability. This could be really overpowered or people would be really stupid with it... For example, a warrior gaining arcane missiles?? Then again, it might be a little unbalanced for something like, a hunter gaining heroic leap, an ability i think would greatly benefit them in pvp (just my outlook). To balance these options, the spell or ability could be nerfed if you pick it up out of class, like if you had, like before, a hunter with heroic leap, the cooldown could be increased tenfold, so it was a one time pvp ability, and not something used every minute. In addition, the spell, if offensive, or ability, offensive as well was picked out of class, then the power could be decreased. Think, if a Warlock gained frostbolt out of class, then instead of hitting for, say 10k with lock gear, it might hit 6 or 7k and have a shorter slowdown target time. This is just a suggestion, though i never think we will see this in World of Warcraft.
Apr 14th 2011 8:08AM I think its impossible for me to play.. I'm an altaholic, so i almost neverp lay on one character too long. I havent even gotten a char to 70, and i have about 5 hovering at 55-65. I can't stop playing other chars, as soon as i hit outlands or another place with one race/class, i make another one. AGH! My friend is the same way, we both have played many months but can't seem to get close to max level! Whenever i make a new char i am obsessed with them for a couple days, saying there OP, then i get bored. You could say i dont handle alts well, if you know what i mean.
