Hyperspace Beacon: Making sense of Legacy {Massively}

Mar 13th 2012 2:02PM I'll apologize up front, because I am NOT a hater, or a troll, or anything of the sort. I have enjoyed TOR somewhat, although admittedly my sub is on hold until this, or potentially the NEXT patch lands, just to see what happens with the game.
That said, I am fairly disgusted that one of the central features of the legacy system is: copy + pasted abilities from other classes? That just seems... incredibly lame and unimaginative.

Patch 4.3 PTR patch notes updated for Oct. 18 {WoW}

Oct 18th 2011 4:38PM I certainly hope they don't make healers "feel useless". But thankfully Blizzard is giving the healing debuff some of it's teeth back. Healers OWN PvP in this expansion. Granted, healers have always played a large role in successful PvP, but in Cata they are the bottom line. I've seen good healers effectively tank 3 or 4 people. In my opinion, healing has scaled extremely well and as a result has become slightly overpowered, particularly in non-organized pvp settings. Giving some bite back to MS, wound poison, etc, is a good move.

Oct 6th 2011 9:15AM Inquisition = the old Hunger For Blood (Rogue's Assassination tree)

Mut rogues used to have to maintain a buff called Hunger For Blood that gave them a flat, across the board, damage increase. Blizzard decided it was "clunky" as an obligatory self-buff, and too punishing to the playstyle, and in Cata they got rid of it entirely, rolling the buff into the rest of the spec.
It blows my mind when I think about this because they turned around and gave THE EXACT SAME MECHANIC to another spec.

Oct 5th 2011 12:28PM Question:

Is it just me, or does the targeting system in WoW really suck? I'm referring to the behavior of Tab targeting. It doesn't seem to display any logical behavior (like targets immediately in front of you having priority over targets who are wide in your field of vision). Sometimes it seems to fail completely. Has there been any discussion of this recently? To my knowledge, it wasn't always this bad and seems to have gotten worse in the last expansion.

Oct 2nd 2011 6:24PM I, for one, agree with this sentiment. The WoW Developers have quite a knack for overhauling core mechanics that affect certain specs/playstyles deeply and it often just leaves me scratching my head.

Don't like the class your currently playing? Don't like that spec? Just wait around a patch or three, it will be noticeably different. Changing the way classes/specs play is one true constant in this game, and I agree that it is a frequently irritating turn-off.

Aug 18th 2011 8:25AM A Thought finally hit me last night concerning this new system. Whenever playing a dual wielding class (like my main rogue) a little speck of OCD always twitched when my weapons looked so different from each other as to look goofy. With this new system, dual wielders will be able to "match" their weapons if they choose to, lending some nice visual symmetry/balance to their weapons.

Jul 11th 2011 2:35PM I noticed recently that Blizzard introduced some new hairdos for several of the gender/race combos. I was curious if there has been any word as to whether more new hairstyles are incoming for everyone else? Thanks!
