Amen. Just don't post that on Massively, they'll tear you apart for daring to like Blizzard (I'll take any downvotes that come from saying that).

Actually, when Blizzard and Activision merged, Blizzard made damn sure that Activision wasn't allowed to poke around where it wasn't supposed to. Blizzard still retains the same leadership that it did before the merger, and all the big names from past iterations of WoW are still working on it to this day.
Think about it. If Activision really had a say in what Blizzard did, then we'd be seeing what happened to Guitar Hero and what's happening to Call of Duty: run the franchise into the ground and then leave it for dead. And yes, I'm sure someone's going to say "Blizzard's already doing that to themselves, lol." Whatever. Blizzard still holds to "it's ready when it's ready" and their trademark of "Soon" (look at how long it took for Diablo III to get a release date, or the length of time from when Starcraft II was announced to when it was released), so if anything, the problem is your dissatisfaction with the direction the game is going. There's nothing wrong with that, opinions are opinions, and already 2 million people have voiced their opinion that they don't like where the game is going.
I'm one of the 10 million that still enjoys the game, and so far I'm actually pretty neutral about the new info. Some stuff I like, some stuff I dislike, and until I play in the beta I won't know for sure if this is still the game I want to play. But don't pin this on Activision. If anyone's going to do WoW in, it's going to be Blizzard and I'd rather it be that way.
Mar 15th 2012 1:42PM Seriously? No more having to spend additional gold just to be competitive. No more running out of ammo in the middle of a progression fight because you forgot to check your supplies. No more tedious grinding because you need a specific pet for a specific buff/debuff. No more being forced into a spec you don't like because the raid needs that buff/debuff more.
Battle Rez isn't going away.

They were enemy humanoids in tight groups that cast spells and interrupting them only makes them move five yards towards you. Defias or Syndicate, they still piss me the hell off.
Mar 15th 2012 8:06AM Defias anything. Whether it was the fireball-slinging jerks in Westfall or the shadowbolt-slinging jerks in Stromgarde, those tightly-packed little twits can eat my bullets if they so much as appear on my minimap!
Also, Leper Gnomes. There's a reason I won't step back into Gnomeregan, you know...
Mar 14th 2012 9:14AM @Luotian: Basically, yes. I hear about the reigniting of World PvP, and as a guy that rolled on a PvE server and keeps his flag off on purpose, this worries me. Outside of dedicated zones, the only World PvP I ever encounter is griefers on the opposite faction camping a quest hub while sending all sorts of colorful emotes at me. That's not what I logged on for, and it's not what I am going to stay logged in for. I'm really hoping Blizzard does this right so that those of us who abhor PvP for our own reasons aren't inconvenienced by those that love it.
Also, at the risk of sounding like a hypocrite, I loved the Pre-Wrath Zombie Event. It was the only time I found the continuous killing of important NPCs okay because, well, it's a zombie outbreak. Sh!t is going to hit the fan. I know I'm in the minority in that regard, but I thought it was a blast and would gladly do it again.
Mar 14th 2012 8:05AM I'm looking forward to hearing about what they're doing with item levels, raiding, World PvP (something I'm hoping they don't force upon those of us that don't want it), and most importantly if there's anything new with Hunters. For example, have they fixed the problem yet on the Talent Calculator where Kill Command is both a class ability and a BM ability?
Can't wait for next week!
Mar 13th 2012 8:09AM For me, it was the feeling of being slow and sluggish. With a Hunter for a main that has a maximum cast time of 1.65 seconds, suddenly going to having Shadow bolt take over two seconds to cast made me feel, well, sluggish and slow by comparison. That poor Gnome never made it past level 5.
Mar 8th 2012 10:08AM I'm laughing at everyone who is raging over this change saying "You can't dodge arrows and bullet in real life, why should you be able to dodge them in game!!"
Okay, let's take this from two different angles.
Angle 1: You're trying to inject sense and real-world physics into a Fantasy game. Let's pause and think about this. If this is what finally snapped your suspension of disbelief, then...Well, I don't really know what to tell you, other than saying how thoroughly shocked I am that THIS was your breaking point.
Angle 2: It IS, in fact, possible to dodge arrows in real life. Using them as the standard, in World of Warcraft, Arrows and Bullets travel at the exact same speed (for obvious balance and mechanics reasons). In WoW, if you can dodge an arrow, then you can CERTAINLY dodge a ba-- dodge a bullet.
To quote/paraphrase something I saw on the MMO-C forums, "Quit trying to put sense in a game that mails you dragons."
