May 4th 2011 9:39PM My speculation, taking one step further than the article, is that this may be the first step in Vol'jin becoming the new permanent Warchief of the horde. With the failures of Garrosh listed in the article, and the other unmentioned failure of Garrosh being duped by Magatha to kill Cairne, Garrosh may be deposed and/or killed with Vol'jin stepping in as Warchief. I mean right now, if the orcs won't depose Garrosh, he's still pretty much a marked man (marked orc?) by Sylvanas.
And in the end, Garrosh being replaced by Vol'jin was what Thrall may have originally intended, as orcs wouldn't blindly accept a non-orc leader. It might be that Thrall suspected that Garrosh would fail, and the orcs themselves will dispose of him and install Vol'jin as Warchief, which would lend a greater legitimacy than just being appointed by Thrall.
May 3rd 2011 1:49AM Just my 2 cents again to Fireye's post on just 1 point...
I think at this time it would be pretty stupid of Blizzard to dilute the WoW cashcow for Warcraft 4. I think that the Warcraft RTS is pretty much dead for now and any story development will come through WoW.
I mean they managed to make a WoW 2 (or at least WoW 1.5) with Cataclysm, replacing the WoW original, and it more or less worked.
Once again, it's only my opinion, and no disrespect was intended.
Apr 30th 2011 5:09AM Judging from what blizzard wrote, I have this feeling that Aggra will turn out to be the Twilight Hammer agent. I mean, she just comes out of nowhere and hooks up with Thrall? There's gotta be something more than that.
And besides, when Thrall comes back, he prolly won't be an "orc" anymore, nor would he be the leader of the Horde, so...Jaina anyone? I mean game mechanic-wise, Thrall being the Warchief was the only thing holding Thrall and Jaina back.
