As a male healer myself (my main and by far favorite toon is a holy paladin) I agree and think that healers often go unnoticed in the background.
In fact, we are only really noticed when we screw up. I think it takes a lot to become and play a healer cosistently because of the fact that most of the attention you get is criticism.
Healers are almost always the first ones to get blamed for a wipe and it can be very discouraging. There's.a lot of pressure being a healer especially when trying to progress into heroic raids.
Now I have played with female tanks, dps, and healers and from what I have gathered, It's about the perso, not the gender. I've met women who love dpsing and refuse to heal or tank. I've met women who don't do anything but tank. We each have our own preferences that cannot be accurately described in a stereotype.
I may be wrong, but I remember reading somewhere that 42% of games are female. To say that "all females are healers" is ridiculous as it would mean that just under half of the playerbase is comprised of healers. Since we all know that that's not true, it only makes sense that neither is the stereotype.
Nov 23rd 2011 11:49AM He wouldn't know because you can't see it. Really bad naming on Blizzard's part.
Nov 8th 2011 9:04AM Well maybe instead of complaining about how WoW is bad and needs to be improved, you can offer up some solution along the lines of, "If Blizzard did X, it would make WoW a much better game." Your negativity really achieves nothing besides some attention which is probably all you are looking for. Remember, be part of the solution, not the problem.
Nov 1st 2011 11:11AM Just realized that Raineva just asked the same thing. Feel free to ignore my post.
Nov 1st 2011 11:07AM I thought that in 4.3 there would be no tier on the valor vendors and that you could only get tier from killing raid bosses. Did Blizzard say this or am I just going crazy?

I just want to thank you for pointing that out. I was about to reply the same exact thing when I saw your comment. You know how people say "History repeats itself"? Well if you don't learn history now, you can't learn from people's mistakes and it will, in fact, repeat. My current fear is that the majority of people are forgetting the terrible, and occasionally good, things that happened in the past and it will ultimately be our downfall.
TL;DR Use that wonderful invention we call the internet and read up on some history.

Are there any adds that allow you to store multiple talent specs? I know I would not be able to switch between them without goin to a trainer but I would love to have more than 2 specs without memorizing/looking them up each time.

I know it has been stated that loot is determined when the mob spawns but how is loot determined while fishing? Is it when you cast or when you actually click the bobber thing?
Let's say I have a lure attached to my fishing pole. If it expires midcast will I still get the bonus when I catch a fish?
Sep 13th 2011 2:59PM Well I find that in Arathi Basin that a tank can be quite useful. In RBGs we usually stick our tank on Stables, I play Ally, and keep him as a look out there. This way it frees up the rest of the group to go after different bases and if the Horde tries to attack Stables, he can usually hold his own until teammates can come to his aid.
I general, however, I agree that tanks are least useful in the node capture BGs but are awesome in tanking the end bosses or flag carrying.
