Mar 22nd 2012 10:11PM @ Noyou... I was referring to vendoring them. Plate items of wepons are normally the highest value so if the item wasn't an upgrade I just took the one worth the most and sold it to a vendor. after level 40 or so they end up being worth a few gold at least per item.
Mar 22nd 2012 9:30PM I started an alliance hunter so I could try out the new alliance story lines. Have historically played Horde only so this was very different for me. Regardless, I picked up mining and skinning. I had no interest in crafting with this toon, just wanted to level and run quests. I never went out of my way to mine, just hit them when i ran across them. I only skinned what I killed. Everything went in the auction house. Green and blue drops as well as all skins and plants. By the time I hit level 58 I have almost 9,000 gold. To be honest, I was a bit stunned. No farming, just questing. Selling off the highest quest rewards when it wasn't an upgrade helped too. It's amazing how fast it can build up when your not wasting it on AH buys, crafting supplies and the like. No bag upgrades in the bank either. Only thing I ever bought was four netherweave bags. It has actually been some of the more enjoyable play I have had in a while.
