Breakfast Topic: Will your pandaren fit into your character naming convention? {WoW}

Mar 24th 2012 12:29PM @Noyou: Don't forget that they've disabled those special characters for naming on North American servers, as they aren't common-use in English. Granted, if you're on an EU server, I think you can still use them, Lipstick. :)

Scattered Shots: Moar boars -- Stampede Q&Q {WoW}

Mar 22nd 2012 8:28PM I remember that interview... The person asking questions seemed to unreasonably favor paladins... So I guess that explains their general lack of astute questioning on behalf of hunters, even if it doesn't excuse it. :P

That said, it does initially sound very much like AotD. If you're lucky, they'll pop out without growl active, and thus no taunting. Let's hope so!

The Queue: The sins of the father {WoW}

Mar 21st 2012 11:15AM I'm wondering/speculating that he manages to exploit one of the power sources the pandaren are protecting on Kun-Lai Summit or in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. I know I read that we're helping neutral factions there... What if Garrosh gets his hands on that "dark secret" in K-L Summit? That would certainly tie into what we've been told exists.

Breakfast Topic: What's your one wish for Mists of Pandaria? {WoW}

Mar 16th 2012 10:27AM Agreed, to the n-th degree.

Breakfast Topic: What's your WoW grudge? {WoW}

Mar 15th 2012 10:24AM Oh so very the same. In fact, our whole guild has this grudge. One member has nicknamed him "FRED," or Fel Reaver Eat Death. And if I'm doing arch or soloing old content, I go out of my way to find both of them in Hellfire and make sure they're dead.

Lichborne: Why I play a death knight {WoW}

Mar 13th 2012 9:00PM I started WoW on a hunter, and while she was fun, it always felt clunky and out of step. I tried melee classes like rogue and warrior, but something just didn't feel right. So the story of the death was really what pulled me in initially. Dark and menacing, but the light of a hopeless honor amongst their ranks with characters like Mograine, Thassaurian, and Koltira, then the awesome betrayal and redemption at LHC. And while that mught have been enough for me to play mine a bit, it was the mechanics of playinb a death knight that snagged me and had me switching mains. It was like turning a switch, and the game just opened up for me. Even through all the shifts in design, being a death knight has been as easy for me as breathing.

The Queue: Soon {WoW}

Mar 12th 2012 11:46AM @Altair and Brian: Goblins have been in the game since Vanilla, as have worgen. I haven't played a goblin death knight yet, but in the "kill your racial buddy" quest, the npc references escaping Arugal's control together. I imagine the goblin quest is similar. In contrast, despite pandaren being in WC3, no one's seen one in WoW since then, so Arthas wasn't likely to get his hands on any.

Breakfast Topic: Does WoW need more emotes? {WoW}

Mar 6th 2012 10:06AM I've tried /eyeroll with no luck, but I'll give /rolleyes a try. Thanks!

Breakfast Topic: Does WoW need more emotes? {WoW}

Mar 6th 2012 8:31AM I'd like an /eyeroll emote, and one that will /shake my head at someone, instead of my butt.

Breakfast Topic: Does WoW need more emotes? {WoW}

Mar 6th 2012 8:28AM Try /yw :)
That one usually does something along the lines of "was happy to help."
