Apr 20th 2011 11:12AM I think starting a DK tank for someone's first time tanking is a bad idea because coming out of the DK starter zone, and queuing for tank lands you in dungeons where people already expect you to know what you're doing. Leveling a new toon 1-15 does not take too long in a post-Cata world, and the dungeons are much easier to practice all your basic tanking skills, not class skills, but situational awareness, taunting loose mobs, trying out some different addons, line-of-sight pulls, and what not.
