Nov 15th 2011 9:47AM that's one of the reasons I enjoy AH PvP so much - there is more than one way to skin a cat. Some people are completely content to sell for small profit margins, in large quantities, that's fine. It's how you enjoy the playing the game. I hunt bigger game, that's how I enjoy the game. At the end of the day, whatever works for you and gives you the most fun is a win for you.
Nov 14th 2011 5:24PM meh - this is perpetuating the myth that one person should have all of a particular market. If the market on that server is supporting 450g per glyph, why ruin that with 20g glyphs? So you make 4-5g a glyph that you list 2 glyphs two times a day? That's incredibly foolish. If the mat price makes that glyph (at 20g) is a 20% markup, I'll buy all day long and re-list at 450. I've noticed that glyphs, by in large, sold from whomever is lowest at the moment. If I'm selling 1 glyph for 450g every two days while buying 4 of yours at 20g (again, every two days) - 1) that's less time I have to spend making that glyph and 4-5g is basically a convenience fee for me. Should my competition get aggressive and start posting 5-10 glyphs at that 20g price point, I'll tank the market - I'll list a couple at 1g, 2g, etc. Throw a TUJ notification on the glyph and wait for you to buy me out. Then tank it again. Most large scale goblins will accept a small to mid-range loss in exchange for ridding themselves of aggravating competitors. My advice, sit back and ride the high market for as long as you can, cuz it won't last for long.
Aug 22nd 2011 1:00PM one of the reasons I have slowed my play down (overall) is the length of time it takes to level toons. As the level cap increases each expansion, presumably there will be a time, in the not too distant future, where we will have to level toons to 100. As an altoholic, this is very disheartening. While i understand that heirlooms make leveling much, much quicker, I would prefer to see a DK like starting levels for players with more than say two max level toons. Start us at 60 so that we aren't grinding the same content over and over again...just a thought.
Aug 8th 2011 4:19PM Of course they are going to bring ni a RMAH - if you don't think they are salivating over the possibility of, literally, millions of dollars in transactional fees, you're nuts. They are just trying to perfect the system prior to launch.
May 24th 2011 1:16PM "borderline useless Zephyrite"
You, Sir, are mad. Positively insane I tell you. You need to be taking those "worthless" blue zephyr's and muting them into ocean sapphires which you SHOULD be stockpiling for 4.2 for the new JC rings...shame on you.
Apr 27th 2011 5:17PM yeah not sure which was better this week - the column or the music - both kicked ass - well done, sir.

Apr 25th 2011 2:42PM Blizz developers are nothing if not a) overworked and b) prone to duplicate content. I have 3 tabs of pyrite ore right now. I've been buying it for months. Now that it's starting to show up under 100g/stack I'm getting deeper into the market. Prospecting high level ore for gems is simply too elegant a solution for Blizz to ignore based on the relatively few number of gold goblins hoarding it right now.
Once the gems are released, I expect to make back my initial 25K - 50K initial ore investment in the first couple of weeks with everything else being gravy. I have two JC's which have been doing the dailies (and stockpiling the tokens) so that once the gems and epic cuts drop, I will be in place to have every cut ready to be sold.
And if it doesn't pan out the way I hope, oh well, back to grinding Blackened Deviate Delight recipes :)
