Nov 20th 2011 6:04PM Nice, racism, very polite of you. I gave my reasons which were I do not identifly with a culturally specific event as I'm not from that culture and I get called a dirty forginer. Charmed I'm sure.
Nov 20th 2011 11:24AM At no point did I suggest it was a 'them and us', mearly that this is a very specific culture based theme that I find hard to identify with. Oktoberfest is celabrated is many contries after its beginnings in Germany, most countries across Europe and Cities in America have beer halls for this. Same with Chinese new year, with the expantion and mass migration of the Chinese people across the centuries have led most cultures to accept and acknowledge this period, hell, most of Europe used a Lunar calendar before the gregorian one we use today. And thawedtheorc, of course it wasn't an American citzen that started it, as pilgrims, they were English, 'America' didn't exist at the time.
So again, I will not be taking part in this for my first reasons; I don't identify with it, I don't care about it and i'd like to add a 3rd - Skyrim.
Nov 20th 2011 8:44AM I know Bliz are an American company, made by Americans and Based in America...but I, and Millions of others who play this game aren't and I just struggle to care about thanksgiving which pilgrims bounty represents in-game. Sorry Blizz, I just don't get it and I'll be sitting this one out. Again. For the 5th year in a row.

Nov 10th 2011 6:16PM Patch 3.4 Just in time for SW:ToR. What a coincidence!
Nov 5th 2011 4:44PM While I'd like to see an outland revamp, I think a trick was missed in the cata revamp - when the zones were re-engineered and level adjusted, why weren't some zones made in the 60-70 bracket, to give variety? Say, make plaguelands level 60 instead of what it was, with scaled rewards. Just an example, but the revamped PL quests were really enjoyable to game though and were a nice followon from WotLK, could easily have been anywhere, just for a chance to outland.
Sep 24th 2011 8:33AM Kara. Like many other BC babies, I never got further than Kara, both in game, and mentally. I love that raid. My guild were farming it pretty reasonably by the end of TBC, and i had yet to reach 70, as soon as I did, they threw my a pity invite.
I had literally never set food in a raid, was geared in greens and quest blues, not an epic in sight. But I read up. Came with food, scrolls, enchanted my gear as best I could, I socketed gems. I even studied tactics. Result? my little fail hunter topping the charts for several of the bosses. Full clear on continuation night, I still farm that place most weeks.
Finally got my mount last week off Attumen, hurrah!
Jul 26th 2011 12:27PM This, so much, is really the only story that would translate fully onto the big screen. Human interest, epic landscapes and stories combined with a backdrop of war, death and why fractions are opposed. Win.
