Patch 4.3: Hour of Twilight trailer {WoW}

Nov 29th 2011 3:14AM Hmmm, not as story driven as the last two patches. Rise of the Zandalari was a close, even intimate look at a troll campfire council. Rage of the Firelands was also intimate, but grew to epic proportions as we saw Orgrimmar burst into flames. Nevertheless, 4.1 and 4.2 both had a feeling of narration, whereas 4.3 seems to be just a trailer made up of movie captures.

Nov 28th 2011 11:58AM On the subject of new classes:

I think there's plenty of room for new classes, since they seem to be expansion specific. BC brought balance to the forces of the Alliance and Horde by giving each new race a class that hadn't been available to the faction yet. WotLK brought the 'hero' class of Death Knight to 'life.' Even Cata spread the love, allowing more races more access to existing classes by breaking down barriers, be they cultural in the case of the dwarves, or philosophical in the case of the trolls and tauren. Pandaria follows the tradition by including a new race AND class to all but the newer races.

The set-up:
There was so much lead in for what I was convinced was the new class and expansion to hit WoW's proverbial shores: the Demon Hunter in a Burning Legion expansion.

The lead-in:
We found training materials on being demon hunters in the Maw of the Void in Darkshore. We brought a demon hunter back to life simply to have him serve as a living prison for a demon in the Blasted Lands. You release a demon into the world despite the best efforts of her former lover in Feralas, and then loose yet another in saving Mount Hyjal from the flames. We even go back in time to when Illidan first acts as a demon hunter and see him in action against the Legion. I know I'm missing some things.

The queued question:
With so much lead in, how could they NOT follow through with a demonic invasion? I mean, Pandas are great and all, but lore-wise they kinda came out of left field.

Oct 30th 2011 2:50PM While we're on the subject, Hozu (houzi, 猴子)is monkey and Jinyu (錦魚 or 錦鯉) is fish, specifically koi. Mogu I'm not 100% sure about but 魔鬼 (mogui) means demon.
