Breakfast Topic: How should WoW end? {WoW}

Jun 16th 2009 8:25AM WoW will end, if not at all, at least will end as it is today, with this graphics and engine, because it already started to become old and the engine is struggling for more effects/dynamism/gameplay etc. I say a new shiny WoW 2 would come out, let us import our chars and stats and achievements etc and the battle can go on and on for another couple of years. As a true end, don't think can it be one, lorewise speaking.

Breakfast Topic: Should raid progression even be tracked anymore? {WoW}

Dec 4th 2008 8:47AM Wish someone will hear you mate!! Solo content rules!
Raiding with friends is fun to, but still, when no time for raids and all, solo is gold!

Breakfast Topic: Should raid progression even be tracked anymore? {WoW}

Dec 4th 2008 8:31AM I so have to disagree with you.

With WotLK, this game is more RPG than ever, with those quests, with those lore rich moments, with so many things to do etc etc.

They even reduced grinding to minimum with questing...what else do you want to do in an RPG? Quest and play your role and slay dragons! Now you can do that. Now everyone can do that, now everyone can be somebody, can have that feel of accomplishment, of being a hero.

I say WoW is in these times more RPG than ever.

Breakfast Topic: Should raid progression even be tracked anymore? {WoW}

Dec 4th 2008 8:18AM This ^ and some more form my part.

Yes, it is easy to advance at this stage, but thats just because:

1 - these are the firsts instances available, made easy mode for people to be able to see the content
2 - Naxx - the main raid dungeon at this moment (loads of trash and bosses) was made easy from start for ppl to see it. No wonder its cleared so fast. And it wasnt a new dungeon either, so yes, it is easy.
3-Malygos/Obsidian - quick fights, wipes doesnt take that much time and since are only a few bosses u can learn it pretty quick.
4-Dont count the downed bosses as progress, thats so last year, now with the achievements you count those, you count the special things u have to do in an instance to "complete" it, so if you try those, things get a little harder, if not the hardes (Obsidian 10 man with 3 drakes up).

Difficulty now its in the way you kill the encounter, and not in the death of the encounter. "You killed it? So what, me too. But you killed it without killing the adds or without using the iWin trigger? No? Well, try it and then we can talk! :) "-kind of thing.

The game changed and I applaud for these changes. Everyone can see the content, only the good players can complete all the achievements. Smart done I say.
