Jul 12th 2011 9:33AM All my character names begin with "Rag" so I can relate to this.
Probably one of my bigger things is after I do a LFD dungeon, good or bad I will bow to each member of the party (the ones that haven't left immediately anyway). Why? I have no clue...
Another thing I tend to do is only make draenei characters, I just happen to like them! xD
Jun 10th 2011 9:08AM Sounds completely logical, Blizzard has a nice little history of patches and expansions coming around the same time as other MMOs (whether a threat or not) release dates. Sounds to me like EA did their history homework here.
Jun 2nd 2011 11:34AM That was actually the way of making it hard mode. He gained new abilities once the other 2 were dead. And if he was last they were some pretty mean ones (insta-dead).
Jun 2nd 2011 11:32AM Definately a fan of the Ulduar style myself, I do wish that they had continued it up into the Cata or at very least into ICC. I feel it adds such nice variety to the encounters and can lead to some more strategy and planning and adaptation for different raids.
I know they say that it would be incredibly difficult to do but I can already think of some quick ones off the top of my head that could have been added to things like ICC.
Professor Putricide - What's to stop us from accidently triggering something in the room that accidently spills some chemicals on either us or PP. The chemicals would then either grant him new powers or cause certain abilities to act differently toward the raid. Heck we could say the same for Maloriak, spill some chemicals. It doesn't have to be completely unique as long as it fits...we're not gonna complain if it makes sense.
Halfus - Maybe it's just me but i can definately easily see this being a variation of the FL type of activation. "Should we pull 3 dragons this week or stick to 2?" could have been how that fight worked out instead of how it works now.
It might just be me really missing Ulduar though :p
May 24th 2011 2:46PM You act like my guild is demanding or something...we only raid 2 nights a week and no one is "forced" into any spec. We have fun with it but we don't go in there unprepared...
I count myself casual because, although we are 12/12, we don't force ANYONE to come or be a certain spec or even take attendance. We're there for the fun of it and honestly this has nothing to do with my comment.
I simply feel nerfing the raids by what seems to about 20% in the benefits that people are going to get with the 4.2 (Elemental Bonds cloak and Hyjal Daily rewards) might be a tad excessive to help people out for raiding.
