Dec 6th 2011 5:13PM Not after Dec 20th, as Star Wars the Old Republic starts EA on the 15th and GA on the 20th.
Nov 12th 2011 6:12PM I am very disappointed in the arcane changes.
I don't want a complicated rotation to distract me from whatever twitch dance mechanics I am forced to endure (e.g. Cataclysm.) The simpler the rotation, the better. Being a successful mage in these raids has a lot less to do with how good a mage you are and more with your skill in the boss-specific mechanics.
If Blizzard is getting away from the PvE, PvP and one nobody plays design, they why not have a spec that is designed for people who enjoy 180 APM twitchfests and another for people who are properly medicated and/or do not desire such a frenetic play style.
Oct 20th 2011 5:23PM Very beginning question:
What is the difference between things like grid, SUF, xperl?
It seems like grid and SUF do the same thing and it should be either/or.
How many types of frames are there? Unit, party, raid? How are they different?
Sep 26th 2011 2:27AM @Magma - I think there are persuasive arguments to be made that Cata is the WoW-killer. Sure, WoW may have a million subscribers a decade from now. But after Cata the idea of WoW as a growing leader is gone, probably for good.
The employees who made those mistakes should be ashamed of themselves.
Aug 30th 2011 11:25PM So what if Blizzard is optimistic? If the executives were not clueless, they would not have release Cata.
It was just a lack of adult supervision; the devs made the game they wanted to play, not what the customers who pay the bills wanted.
Jul 3rd 2011 9:26PM Everything I have been reading is the three new expansion for WoW players are: World Of Tanks, TOR, and Rift.
Jun 25th 2011 7:14PM I believe you could have also added the caveat "be in a guild that can survive a Legendary."
Even in the best of times, drama - especially over loot - happens. And the Summer of Cataclysm is certainly not the best of times.
Jun 20th 2011 8:48PM That seems like a lot of work to find your future ex-guild.
For me, I see no reason to pay $15 a month to get many of the hassles of a job with none of the pay.
Jun 20th 2011 6:35PM If you are a new guild leader, you have already made your biggest mistake.
It is a difficult job, requiring more time and more skills than raiding with little external benefit. There are some great ones, but most guild founders underestimate the efforts required and overestimate their skills.
