Cool story bro.
Mar 14th 2012 5:22PM Creating my own MMO would not be first on my lists of things to do if i won the lottery but regardless it is a great idea! hahaha I got to give him credit for putting his money where his heart is. =]
Hopefully he chooses a good company. Most that are in the business of MMOs have their hands full with one already (successful or not). Wow this is exciting to think about because how would you choose the company? Like Bioware had a great track record for making games and writing story but their MMO ended up being just a World of Warcraft 2.
I hope he chooses right, otherwise he may make $27 million dollar mistake.
Mar 8th 2012 7:20PM Its a stupid idea. I have no idea why they are trying to implement it if the final result is something that takes a lot of work and design to complete and looks half ass.
For the labor involved in dealing with one, the price is to high.
(barriers like the cost to purchase one, the time limit, the inability to have it out in high population areas, no personal trait buff and last but not least...the fact that skirmish soldiers are the dumbest NPCs to ever exists in a game as companions).
Mar 6th 2012 5:22PM About time they owners of WoW stopped trying to pinch every penny out of their customers. This is a good deal where they really are offering a lot for your money. Well done.
Does that mean im going back?
Mar 2nd 2012 2:54PM Great topic lol How did you know Shawn Schuster?
Well i deleted WoW about a year ago cause it was one heavy cow on my harddrive. But just a few days ago i also removed Lineage 2, Vindictus and Age of Conan.

Thank you so much for bringing this up! This issue is so confusing. If in the Korean courts these gentle men were convicted of using stolen material in their game Tera and they served time for it... why does KTera and Japan Tera still exists?
Why is NCsoft suing again if they won the first time and what do they plan to achieve if turning the game off is not the goal?
Its all very confusing to me.
Feb 14th 2012 6:57PM C'mon guys dont buy this, you cant keep encouraging the company to keep charging you for mounts and pets.
Way i see it is that they take the money from your subscription to pay their artists to design in game items to be sold right back to you for more than what your subscription costs.
The developers just jump at opportunities to say "we dont have the resources" to do whatever but they have enough to create these?
Feb 14th 2012 6:15PM I enjoyed the article. I love reading opinions and different poin of views especially about things I like, like Tera.
It boils down to where you draw the line for yourself. I stopped playing WoW after they implemented nazis and when I got fed up of them using subscription money to create and sell in game items like mounts and pets. I put my line there but other people don't and thats them.
For me Elin are a race in a game that look like little girls if you remove the animal ears/tail, lore, anatomy(large hips and thighs) anime faces(ridiculously large eyes and small noses) and their ability to wield magic and large weapons without problem. Get my point?
Feb 14th 2012 5:52PM Nice review and I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it so much =]
The health regen certainly is something that deserves a better look especially when you have SWTOR system online. TOR provides one button with no cooldown that can be used anytime while out of combat and restores full health in 10 sec. That is by far the best mechanic I've encounterd.
About the Elin, I like them. I don't think you can see any more up their skirt than Shirly Temple. Besides they have already been censored so put the pitch forks and torches down everyone lol
Feb 13th 2012 4:58PM I cant believe what im seeing. All these players thing Healers are more important???
TANKS are king.
-Our role demands that we gear up completely differently than the other roles. While heals and dps farm gear that will give their pew pew bigger numbers we tanks go for gear that will mitigate pew pew. Our role demands this unique path.
-We stand on the front lines of every battle no matter how big or small.
-We literally control the boss. We face him away from the group, we kite him along a path around the room, we taunt him off the squishy.
When random players are pulled from the abyss of cyberspace and dumped in dungeon, flashpoint, ops, etc, who do they look to? Exactly, the Tank!
