Jul 18th 2011 5:06AM It's just occurred to me that it's strange that the orcs that drank Mannoroth's blood from the fountain were able to pretty easily kill Cenarius and yet Mannoroth himself held back and didn't directly attack Cenarius; he even had a Dread Lord with him to help. So a bunch of regular orcs and one orc hero could drink a bit of *diluted* Mannoroth blood and easily kill Cenarius but Mannoroth himself who is just FULL of *undiluted* Mannoroth blood couldn't?
Jul 14th 2011 2:27PM Do you say the same thing whenever you see a movie trailer, game demo, a test drive at a car showroom, a free food or drink sample at a mall, etc?
Jul 12th 2011 11:57PM I don't think I have anything particularly unusual; once I go into a zone, I feel like I have to reveal every area to get the achievement and if I get about 10-15 quests into a zone, I feel I have to carry on and do enough to get the quest achievement for that zone. I do often place appearance of armour over the stats, but only if the stats aren't *that* much worse. I also have to name my Hunter pets properly, not just leave them as "Cat" or something, but actually put some thought into their name.
Jul 11th 2011 10:53AM I did some mini-boss guy whose name I forget (hah, the ultimate insult!) but it was a bit of a chore to try to light/extinguish the various fires since I don't have a flying mount yet and am a low enough level that most players could take me apart if I got flagged for PVP. I did managed to put out the Horde fire in the Arathi Highlands, though.
Jul 10th 2011 7:26PM Originally I used gonna.get.taken.home@ and then I used thisfails@, to remake my account. Both are gmail accounts. I've also used my operamail account. In each case, it simply uses my email address as my username when I try to use the "Returning" tab to post (and input the email address and the password). As I said, it only uses my username if I post as a new reader and explicitly state the username (and then confirm the post).
Jul 10th 2011 7:14PM Uh, this was in response to Audrey's earlier comment about the username issue, by the way.
Jul 10th 2011 7:13PM I am putting my email in - as I said, it's using my email address as my username (at least the part of it before the @ sign). If I want it to use my username (Tropxe) I have to use the "New readers" tab and confirm each comment. Putting my email and password into the "Returning" tab just leads to it putting "gonna.get.taken.home" as my username. Let's try again and see what happens...
Jul 10th 2011 3:36PM Anyway, I asked a question yesterday but I'll repeat it again here in case it was missed:
I'm just wondering which of the novels apart from feature the draenei in more than a passing way? Either as a race or with specific draenei main characters.
Jul 10th 2011 3:21PM Yeah, although that part of the life cycle can simply be the eggs needing to be in water. As you probably know "amphibious" simply means they can live on land and in water (literally something like "life on both sides") but a further distinction is made if the eggs can exist on land - then they're considered to be amniotes, a category that includes birds, reptiles and even us humans and other mammals (the eggs being carried inside the mother still counts as being "on land" apparently...)
Anyway, if you ever see (living) murloc eggs on land, they're an amniote, probably a reptile. It's possible they could even be mammals - depends if they have nipples, but then going off most American media, most humans wouldn't even be mammals under that criteria.
Jul 10th 2011 5:33AM I've recently started to read the WoW novels. I was wondering, which of the books - if any - feature the draenei? Beyond a random draenei appearing in the odd scene, that is.
