Mar 6th 2012 12:39AM If you feel you need more mana regen (which you might be as a fresh 85 priest), DMC:Tsunami is a pretty good alternative to your current trinkets. DMC should be coming down in price right now. Reflection of the Light and Bottled Wishes aren't great choices (other than to boost your ilvl) and I would pick a trinket with static int over them any day. Other than DMC:T, I think all the better trinkets come from raid drops.
If you are struggling for mana, go with Heartsong, IMO. You might get some good mileage out of a well-timed Power Torrent proc with Shadowfiend and/or Hymn of Hope, but I dislike hoping for some good planetary alignments when I'm low on mana.
I would imagine 2.5k spirit is a good starting point to have as a Holy Priest; you'll likely feel a little strapped for mana at this point though. More than 3k spirit is ultimately where you want to be -- especially for normal modes. Your primary mana regen is from spirit, so the more you have the better.

Jan 16th 2012 1:25PM 25-man raiding on my server is suffering pretty badly too. By the end of t11 there were 3 25-man guilds. Now... I think my guild may be the only guild that is managing to get a 25-man group together regularly, but only barely. There have been many days when we had to split into 10s.
Recruiting has been difficult too as we're on a low/moderately populated realm.
Dec 6th 2011 10:24AM I assume that the tank healer is stacked with the melee. When I was tank healing the fight, I found it much easier to move out of melee early to a safe location and not take the 4th hit. I stick out like a sore thumb not standing with anyone else, but I don't have to heal on the move.
I assume other healers in the melee group can also move preemptively as well -- yes the melee group will take more damage, but the healers aren't on the move and are likely able to heal through it.
Nov 25th 2011 4:12PM I'm surprised you left out the Heroic Presence (+1% hit) to Draenei. That's 121 hit rating that can be reforged into other secondary, throughput stats. IMO that's worth a point.
Nov 18th 2011 6:32PM I think the biggest hurdle to the raid finder will be the same as the dungeon finder -- a complete lack of confidence in up to 24 complete strangers every time you join a group. At least when you join a pug on your own server you have a vague idea of how successful it may be based on guild reputations.

Sep 21st 2011 6:13PM My guild has been spending the last month or so working on Ragnaros on 25N. We also have a little trouble getting Domo consistently on farm. We enjoyed thed challenge. Last night, we cleared the entire raid in 3 hours (the bulk of the time spent on swapping players) and one-shot Rag for our first guild kill. To be honest, we felt our hard work over the last month was for naught. If it had been a 5% nerf, we may feel a little bit differently. But the ease we breezed through content made us a little ill. Next week we're going to work on heroics and we hope that the encounters are still challenging despite a 15% nerf. If it is easy, we're going to feel insulted.
Sep 12th 2011 8:27PM What is meant by "balance"? Is it keeping the mastery, crit, and haste rating amounts close? Or is it percentage based, like keeping 12 points of mastery with 12% haste and crit?
