PUGs in LFD can be a trying experience, so I think that people use class names as a way to generate one more layer of distance as to avoid getting emotionally attached to a run. So when things go south, one isn't too frustrated because he or she isn't really that emotionally attached to the run.

Aug 18th 2011 1:39AM The 25-man I'm in, I'm putting Pain Suppression on our SPriest and he goes to disperse around 20 stacks. We also have two people healing one person, so I don't know how how feasible solo-healing is.

Jul 19th 2011 12:17AM Lucky! I don't think my guild has ever had need for a healer to go dps. Which is actually okay with me. I'm Disc/Holy. But if asked to have a shadow spec, I'd probably drop Holy, not because of the current state of Holy healing (though it's a contribution -- but I just suck at it), but because I prefer healing as Disc.

Jul 19th 2011 12:06AM woo hoo! This makes me a happy panda. I got so sick of trolls, a few lucky non-troll heroic groups got an overgeared healer for a while. And once, a couple overgeared dps bored enough to run with me. I'm sure the tank and dps have probably never seen a heroic Throne of the Tides run that smooth or fast (less than 20 minutes from first pull!).
