Bring your pals to The Old Republic with a newly extended Friends Trial {Massively}

RIFT is a joke. That game is extremely boring. SWTOR's a million times better. Or at least 700,00 more according to the subs. ;)

Kissing cousins: SWTOR's legacy system explained {Massively}

Not sure what game you've been playing, but my guild and I have been having a blast since launch. I've leveled 4 toons to 50 and can't get enough. Plenty of people playing on my server and no signs of slowing down.

I'm glad they released in December rather than wait till April for these "extra" features. SWTOR's only going to get even better. :)

Getting started with World of Warcraft {WoW}

Mar 8th 2012 11:32PM Ahh yes. When I first played WoW I thought it was the most boring, confusing game ever. I wandered around Tirisfal Glades on my lowbie rogue for hours. Eventually, my wife helped me out and tried to explain this crazy game to me. "How do I get money?" "Where am I going?" and all those other simple questions were eventually answered. In a few short days I was hooked and amazed at the sheer size of the world.

Sadly, I don't think I will ever get that feeling from a videogame again. :(

That's weird. Almost my entire WoW guild left for SWTOR last December. And guess what? We're all still playing SWTOR and loving it. None of us have any interest in returning to Kung-Fu Pokemon Island Adventure.

That's just your opinion. But thanks for sharing. :)

Guild Summit for Star Wars: The Old Republic fielding a plethora of revelations {Massively}

Personally I'm glad they released when they did. Many fans like myself had been waiting years for SWTOR. And I'd much rather be playing the game now with bugs then waiting another 6 months for release. There will always be bugs and fixes and I don't mind it. Adding all these features in patch 1.2 is just icing on the cake. I'm having a blast and can't get enough. :)

Shifting Perspectives: More on level 90 feral Mists of Pandaria talents {WoW}

Feb 27th 2012 12:16AM I completely agree Andras. No matter how hard they try there will ALWAYS be cookie-cutter builds. These changes do nothing to eliminate them. The min-maxers at EJ will find the best talents and everyone else will follow suit. They might as well eliminate talents all together and just give you a set build cuz this is an exercise in futility.

WoW loses another 100,000 subscribers {Massively}

There's no way you can prove that the 500,000 increase in subs only came from China back in '08. And to even think so is a little naive. WoW continued to grow and hit it's peak during Wrath no matter how you slice it.

SWTOR's new patch makes a mess, BioWare looking into it [Updated] {Massively}

Jan 19th 2012 1:59AM @Bartlebe

Personally I love the changes to Ilum. Is it perfect? Course not. Gonna take a lot of tuning before that will ever happen. But it's a thousand times better than it was last month.

I mean seriously? Standing around trading capture points for easy champion bags and NEVER fighting the other side was waay worse. The only people who say it's worse now are just lazy and shouldn't be pvping in the first place.

At least this way they're encouraging pvp. And it's a lot more exciting seeing 100 hundred players engaging each other in large groups.

Hyperspace Beacon: Cheating vs. poor design {Massively}

Yes, you're right. I haven't earned any valor or mercenary commendations from Ilum yet. Only getting Champion PvP bags from the daily and weekly quests.

I really hope they start rewarding players with mercenary commendations for actively killing the opposite faction on Ilum.

As of right now it's pretty lame just standing around watching everyone recap points and getting yelled at for daring to attack the other side. :(
