Feb 28th 2012 8:25PM Just want to say thank you robin for the Fire festival run a while back when we had 400-500 horde lvls 1-80 ,That was one of the Highlights of anything I had done in wow to that point or since!

Breakfast Topic: What is the best player-run event you've participated in? {WoW}

Feb 28th 2012 5:42PM The "It came from the blog" fire festival event a while back, I rolled a dk and got him out of the starting zone just for that.... it was the most awesome Group thing ever, I think we had like 500 horde ranging from lvl 80 to lvl1 moving in a mass group putting out ally fires!!!

Breakfast Topic: What is WoW's most lucrative profession? {WoW}

Jan 23rd 2012 12:07PM believe it or not i made a lot of money fishing. no one likes to fish and on my server i can make 200-400 g a stack for lavascale, and every raiding group needs them for feasts

Breakfast Topic: What's your idea of good random in-game fun? {WoW}

Nov 23rd 2011 3:13PM Oh I used to do lots of crazy stuff and still do, I can roll a lvl 1 undead rogue and get it all the way to argent tourny grounds without being ported and only flight path taken is from UC to howling fjord. my record so far is only 14 deaths. (and just from exploring new zones you will be lvl 7 by the time you get there)

another fun thing with a Tauren (or group of tauren is even better) is to fly over a bunch of gnomes and dismount and go splat they look around like wtf? if ya land on a gnome or whatever race your raining cows on you get extra points.

The naked Gnome race is fun, get as many gnomes as you can to race laps around ironforge (no blink, mounts or rocket boots allowed)

then there is my favorite silly pastime of all....get some grey vendor trash, giftwrap it and mail it to some random player on the server, from a lvl 1 toon that you delete as soon as you mail it so it shows up as unknown :P

Ready Check: Looking into the future of raiding {WoW}

Nov 3rd 2011 12:46AM I raided some during BC, and during wrath although addmittedly I havent raided in cata due to time constraints of my job. The BC raid model was awesome for new raiders with KARA, Attumen and Morose were great fights to get your feet wet with no real odd mechanics to worry about or things not to stand in. Maiden added the don't stand in stuff mechanic, Opera taught you about adapting to what ever you were given and you didnt know what to expect till the curtain went up and so forth and so on each fight taught you something new. and as you could clear kara, you progressed to mags, gruuls, BT, ...I would love to see blizz make raids "gated" so to speak. In BC terms if you havent cleared Kara then you can't get in the door for Mag. the hardcore raiders will blast through the easy raid content in a night and move on, the casuals may take weeks to clear the lower lvl stuff and get some raid experience, proper gear for the next raid and hopefully learning as they go.

The Cataclysm: A critical examination {WoW}

Oct 28th 2011 3:29PM One thing that I think was overlooked that could have been huge in this expansion was the specialty professions. Especially leather working specialties. with all the dragons, elemental, and focus on trolls and such the elemental. dragonscale, and tribal LW could have had a brief moment to shine, as BS, JC, Inscrip did in wrath... oh well

Please excuse my poor spelling, I am trying to type with a broken hand :P

Breakfast Topic: What new class of weapons would you add to WoW? {WoW}

Sep 18th 2011 6:49PM I would like to see rogues be able to use polearms and staves... like some of the martial arts guys, since a rogue is the closest thing in game currently to a martial artist. If you think about it a rogue as an opportunist should be able to use any weapon in the game that is handy at the time... 2hander, staff, polearm, bows, guns, wine bottles...the occasional handy unconsious gnome or goblin

Breakfast Topic: A message to someone who's left a lasting impression {WoW}

Sep 9th 2011 8:11PM There are a couple of folks who I will never forget in-game.

One was a little level 20 something priest I happened upon in raven-hill cemetery one night on Bladefist. I was On my level 80 rogue. I sat and watched this priest questing alone for 20 minutes die and run back time and time again trying to kill Mor'ladim, only to get 1 shot by him time and after time. She never gave up and never asked me for help even though I was lvl 80 and 20 feet away. I finally asked her if she could use a little help, and she said "80's dont help baby toons"... that has stuck with me to this day that some low levels are afraid to ask for help because some max levels laugh and berate them... I killed Mor 'ladim for her and helped her clear her quest log for raven hill and we even went and got Stalvin for her. Couple months later I switch to horde and just before i leave Bladefist with my guild to go to Borean tundra I get a letter from a lvl1 undead priest that just said "thank you for Raven Hill"

The other was a mystery then as it is now. It was on cho'gall I rolled a warrior there to check out a PVP server and soon asI hit about lvl 5 or 6 someone opend a trade window with a ton of lvl 5 greens and 20g. I to this day dont know who they were or why they did it, but to whomever you are..."thank you"
