Oct 27th 2011 1:38PM I have a feeling that once again an end boss or an end raid boss may be an Old God.
If you read the description of the Sha during the Blizzcon preview panel they're described as "Manifestation of the evil energies that flow through the earth".
Does this sound familiar?
Oct 12th 2011 2:15PM Great comic as always, although the story seems to get sadder and sadder....I hope the next panel isn't when he finds out he has cancer :)
Oct 5th 2011 2:09PM Is there anyway I can pay you for this because I feel guilty for reading such a great comic for free. Every week it just gets better and better, both in story and the aesthetic.
Oct 5th 2011 11:06AM That would make my day, being able to right a Know Your Lore article.
Actually. now that I think about it Know Your Lore may be one of the columns easiest to have guest writers for. I would love to see some guest bloggers do it once, like the author of orcish army knife.
Oct 3rd 2011 11:13AM It could also be that the old gods eventually killed him after he served his purpose.
Oct 3rd 2011 11:12AM Now that transmog has allowed more liberty in the armor art department, do you think we will start to see tier art that deals with a specific class/race combo?
For example, do you think one tier would be the 'Sunwalker' tier, where the priest and paladin sets are based on tauren lore? Although tauren based armor would look weird on certain races it won't matter anymore because people now have the option to simply transmog it off. And then in the future tauren can use the old sunwalker tier as their transmog set.
Sep 28th 2011 4:20PM They could also be transmog sets available from the Darkmoon faire, but I also have the feeling that they're there to ease the transition to cata items.
Sep 21st 2011 5:09PM For a second there I read 'paramilitary roleplay' as 'parliamentary roleplay' and got super excited. I imagined a bunch of orcs in powdered wigs arguing tax policy and saying 'huzzah, huzzah!'
Sep 21st 2011 11:31AM Loved that drawing of a nerubian face/head, very menacing. I think I'm starting to like this more then Safe Passage. Your dwarf drawing skills are amazing
Sep 18th 2011 10:52PM There are some similarities between European Fascism but I feel Garrosh and the Horde is more complex then just that. For example the Horde is comprised of races you willingly agreed to aid the Horde. Also, one of the big things with Fascism was its opposition to the other primary governmental system, democracy.
Yet in the warcraft universe the other societies (with the exception of the gnomes, who are unfortunately not influential enough to change the dynamic) are all based on some form of Monarchy or chiefdom with a overreaching figure or a small council ruling in the best interests of its people. The orcs have the same society, albeit moire aggressive.
