Aug 17th 2011 5:02PM Dual faction race eh? I can promise you there will be some graphical distinctions, not unlike how druids of various races look different when shape shifted - if this actually comes to pass. Personally I'm not so sure about a new race.
BC - Blood Elves and Draenai
LK - DK's
Cata - Goblins and Worgen
??? - I predict another new "Hero Class" if not a new race... Brewmaster anyone?.. eh eh? (new drunken fighting animations for all the races??? Um, yes please)
But transmogrification?... Oh **** yes. Sign me up. I miss the old tier 3 graphics. What i'm curious about is just how many different skins will be available to us? Could additional skins maybe be 'discovered' say through something like, oh, archaeology? "Hark! What's this?! An ancient manuscript describing what warriors of lore looked like!... Fascinating!". Or some such nonsense.
Aug 15th 2011 11:24PM Malacrass has got this hands down. If he uses Siphon Soul on either Vanessa or those Defias Blood Wizard she summons its just not gonna be pretty mon!
Aside from the fact that him stealing and using either Deflection or the wizard's Ragezone (the big red bubble that increases damage done by 50%), he is one notoriously crafty troll, one that's been around for far longer than Vanessa and heaven help her if he decides to bring that annoying Blood Elf priest with him. Granted he might've gone down previously with the combined OP'ness (lol) of five decked out adventurers, Vanessa doesn't have the muscle and even if she uses her poison it can be surmised that after feeling the effects the victim is no long susceptible to it (otherwise what's been stopping her from using it again when you fight her?). I doubt Malacrass would even feel the full effects of it as who knows what crazy concoctions he's already used on himself from time to time, he could very well be immune to the ingredients used to make her Nightmare Toxin.
No... Vanessa is in over her head in this one. The legacy of the Defias Brotherhood could never be a match for the longevity and viciousness of the Amani.
Aug 1st 2011 6:53PM I think you missed the part where he said...
"As always, there are some catches. For destruction, gaining additional ticks on Immolate does matter due to the way in which Conflag operates. The other tie-in to this is how DOT timers work inside of the rotation itself. A second off of Immolate's duration can be the difference between getting off another Incinerate or Conflag cast before you need to recast. Despite this, the DPS value isn't vastly huge. It's worth hitting these marks, but it's not going to be some magical number that's suddenly going to push you into top-tier DPS."
