Apr 4th 2012 12:51PM Im gonna go with something related to the Burning Legion as well. Blizz has said they wanted to revamp ol so it makes sense they would do a new xpac just to do that! The Emerald Dream is prob never going to happen at this point either cause the dream has ended and ysera is awake so i dunno why they would go back to it.
I read a very interesting lore specualtion article on here like 4 or 5 months ago that talked about how azeroth itself was an old god. I really hope the final xpac has something to do with that. Fighting against the planet itself could be SO epic! Like everywhere you went something could potential pop out of no where and you had to fight to survive.....epic.
Feb 28th 2012 9:06AM I actually met my husband in the same manner you did, in game. We were in a grp one day doing something and I went and sat on the planters floating over the scryers tier in Shat and he followed me there. We sat there for hours talking and after that it kinda became our spot. TBC is long gone and we have been together about 5 years now (and married for 2 in May) but we still go back there sometimes and just sit. It's a nice little romantic nerdy thing :P
Feb 17th 2012 2:34PM I only recently got into the AH game but I also thought the demand for bags would be high once Mists drops so while rep grinding BC dungeons I collected all the netherweave and made about 60 bags. I think even those bags will sell for a decent profit cause people won't want to spend 1000g right away on embersilk bagsx4 for a new alt.
Feb 14th 2012 4:20PM Pretty sure its meant more as a joke lol.
Jan 30th 2012 1:18PM that is actually a very true statement. I feel like 25 man raiding is harder to organize(for all the reasons listed in the article) but easier on actual game play than 10 man because there is more room for error.
Jan 27th 2012 9:28AM I actually met my husband on WoW 5 years ago through a drunken mutual friend on vent. We "met" in Hellfire to help her with some quest she couldn't complete (she was convinced she needed to kill the roaming elite robot at lvl 63) and we laughed on vent for hours as we watched her die to him over and over. After that we started talking nearly every day, in game and on the phone, and things blossomed from there. We met a few times before deciding to move in together and we were married a year later.
I know a lot of people think it's odd but I love that we met on a game. We are both big gamers and it's a cool story to tell people. Funny enough, I actually started playing WoW because of my ex so in a way, I have my ex to thank for finding my husband!
Jan 27th 2012 7:57AM Yea as a feral druid I was particularly annoyed at the little helper achievement. That just seems like a HUGE oversight on blizzards part. I shouldn't have to change my spec to get an achievement. I was able to get about 15 of em this year with the help of some guildies carrying me through a bg before I got annoyed with not being able to contribute. I really hope they do something about it next year....
Jan 21st 2012 10:25PM I don't really think that is anymore awkward sounding than when he says "strike in an area" at the end. I know that he can't be like "AOE guys!!!" But it still just sounds awkward.
Jan 8th 2012 3:34PM I had a similar issue. Over the years I was hacked twice and had a SC starter acct that I never played and I got annoyed with looking at all the extra accts so I just put in a GM ticket and they removed the drew accts for me.
