Mar 31st 2012 6:11AM Q for the Q: This is neither here nor there with all of the beta questions being presented, but do you think that Blizzard will implement the ability to be in a solo raid group for non-current tier (or maybe even non-current expansion) raids? I find it to be a pain in the butt to have to ask someone to group with me just so I can go solo Molten Core. I know it's not a huge deal to have a buddy jump on an alt and then just log out, but it seems like since it's already pretty easy, Blizzard may as well take the next step and allow you to actually solo the raid just like you can truly solo 5-mans.
Dec 2nd 2011 4:49PM This is the easiest raid boss in Cata by a mile. If you wipe on this boss, you should quit your account forever. In heroic, he better be challenging to make up for this afk fight.
Good video though. :)
Aug 23rd 2011 10:46PM For all the people complaining about paying an extra $60 to $90 (collector's edition) a year (or 18 months or 24 months), come on! I don't make all that much money, and I live by myself on a fairly strict budget and I have ZERO problem coming up with the necessary money to fund WoW.
As far as the $15/month it costs, if I didn't play WoW I would certainly spend more than that on other hobbies (aka prostitutes).
You aren't going to get a whole lot more value for your dollar (or pound or Euro or peso) than you get with WoW, if you look at the whole picture. I sometimes find myself bored toward the end of an expansion but I still feel like I get a ton of bang for my buck. On top of that, it looks like Blizzard is considering giving us even more bang for our bucks.
Seriously...is it that fun to always have a negative opinion on things?
Aug 6th 2011 9:41AM If you are an end-game raider, you may as well be using the talents outlined by the folks at elitistjerks.com. WoW is one big math equation. Math is one of the only constants in the world (2+2 always equals 4, right?) and not really up for debate. There are people on EJ that have already maximized the numbers for you. Do yourself and your raid group a favor. Sometimes it's okay to not be different for the sake of being different.
If you are an RP'er or you don't care about progression, then do whatever you want. It's your $15/month.
