Swag Saturday: Prototype and Wolverine for 360 {Joystiq}

Jun 28th 2009 6:21AM Last year sometime. Roommate sent me a link and began checking the site daily

Is Karazhan no longer for entry level raiders? {WoW}

May 18th 2008 9:06PM You kind of have to be an idiot not to pull your weight in Kara these days, no? Maybe it's because I've cleared through Black Temple and up to the Sunwell, but I can take my barely 70 mage with 600+ damage and do adequate DPS in that joint. It might be the fact that I have 2 characters exalted with the Violet Eye, but even with alts, that place shouldn't take you more than 4 hours unless someone is forsaking the Shade Chant.

My guild does Kara on the weekends for fun, and with the occasional mocking the crap out of my gear on my lesser alts, it's a nice 2.5-3 hour break to shoot the breeze with friends and get some badges. If PUG's are stressing you out, there are plenty of guilds on every server that do it for fun with alts, and quickly.

The enemy within the Alliance {WoW}

Nov 24th 2007 7:10PM In my experience, alliance has lost FAR more in the new AV. My personal stats are around 6 to 1, playing 30 or so games.

I don't necessarily blame this on "Blizzard favoring the horde" (although go back and watch interviews from Blizzcon, at least the art designers are really into the horde) but on the majority of the alliance just being retarded.

Forum Post of the Day: Scaling warlock pets {WoW}

Oct 31st 2007 6:27PM Locks need this like Britney Spears needs another 8 ball.

Build Shop: Priest 41/20/0 {WoW}

Oct 17th 2007 1:29AM Why do people think that 8 seconds of reduction every 3 minutes is viable? You're a gimpy healer for every 2.45 minutes, I don't call that viable.

Priests are lacking in discipline {WoW}

Oct 16th 2007 8:07PM Discipline on the PTR is still gimped. While pain suppression and power infusion are great talents, they're too short, and have too great a cooldown. There isn't enough +holy damage gear for you to be an effective source of damage in a party/raid, and as a healer, you're just a lot less effective.

It's a step in the right direction, but still not good enough to use.

Enter to win a Spectral Tiger Mount from WoW Insider! {WoW}

Jul 25th 2007 7:02PM Sweet. Fingers crossed for a badass mount.

Priests vs. paladins: Blinded by the Light {WoW}

Apr 9th 2007 2:11PM Buff priest healing. Having both a priest and a rogue, I've found that since TBC, a) I get less tells to heal instances and my pally friends have gotten far more, and b) as my rogue, I'd much rather have a paladin heal an instance than a priest, mostly due to the fact that they can take more than 2 hits. Especially in heroics with attacks getting quite hefty, priest top healing and survivability needs to be buffed.

Using World of Warcraft to teach English {WoW}

Apr 5th 2007 8:28PM You have GOT to be kidding. Ninety-Five percent of players use improper spelling and grammar anyway. Learning the wrong thing would just be silly.

Breakfast topic: The brotherhood of buffbots {WoW}

Apr 3rd 2007 9:17AM Basically what the other priests are saying. When one fort buff takes almost a quarter of my mana, I no longer buff random people (unless I'm waiting for a boat or something). If someone tosses me an int or wisdom buff or something, I of course reciprocate, because it's just polite. People who demand being buffed go immediately on the ignore list. Ignoremore ftw.
