Mar 9th 2012 6:33PM I believe his linearity argument comes down to this: the two-roll system is EXACTLY the same thing as the current one-roll system with a nerfed value to mastery, at one given "snapshot" point. Theck proved that 1-to-1 mapping on his blog, as mentioned by the author.
So this new system doesn't have much of a point, except introducing the exact problem you describe - the value of mastery would now depend on your avoidance (more avoidance makes mastery less atractive). Which is fine, if that's the goal, but it goes directly against Ghostcrawler's intended design (according to his Dev Watercooler post).
Personally, I think this will be one of those things that will be designed and redesigned at least a couple times before MoP comes out.
Mar 9th 2012 6:25PM It's Warrior vs Paladin: The Musical, all over again!
Seriously, if you haven't watched it, go look for it on YouTube. I'll wait.
You back? Ok, then we can get back on the subject.
Mr. Rossi, all trolling aside, I'll respectfully disagree.
Paladins were OP through this expansion, yes, but my co-tank (a warrior) has been block-capped for a while now. Which makes it kinda funny, since she can crit block too. It's not just us! :)
Mar 2nd 2012 11:22AM My little piece of advice - go to Mount Hyjal. The Thrall/Aggra questline will net you a very good tanking cloak (besides the entertainment).
You can also unlock the Molten Front dailies while there. Unlocking everything will take you a while, but the first day alone gives you access to a neck piece that can be used for tanking (expertise/mastery).
Other than that, I'd say maybe run a couple regular dungeons first, just til you get comfortable tanking again, and you should be fine to start on the lower-tier heroics.
Don't forget to reforge your gear to mastery, as it'll be your most important stat for now. :)
Dec 31st 2011 1:29PM I'm guessing this one will overload the comment system very quickly. I don't care, I'm posting mine! :)

Dec 28th 2011 8:52PM Oh hi!
Dec 23rd 2011 11:25PM If no one stays in during Hour of Twilight, Ultraxion kills the Aspects and wipes the raid. So one tank has to stay and take the damage.
I don't think that happens in LFR difficulty, but I could be wrong.
Dec 23rd 2011 11:24PM One additional bit of information for Ultraxion: I'm 99.99% (repeating of course) sure that Divine Guardian's cooldown is also reduced by Thrall's buff.
If you're lucky enough to have a 4pc bonus for your tier 13 (conq tokens are a myth, I tell ya!), you can technically pop a Raid Wall once every minute. You're welcome, healers!
Dec 23rd 2011 11:20PM Skarn's suggestion is a good one.
Another thing you may want to consider if GoAK and AD are unavailable is saving up 3 holy power whenever the cast is near. Right before it goes off, pop glyphed DP and a Word of Glory. Assuming you're topped off (which you should be) you can reduce the incoming damage via the absorb effect. :)
