Mar 30th 2010 1:27PM I never win these kinds of things but.. oh well! Here it goes!
Feb 23rd 2010 1:52AM I agree it is a good change but some sick part inside of me will really miss the super long, quadruple thick line of corpses leading up to the entrance of SM on Hallows End. It really added some atmosphere for that holiday...
Dec 30th 2009 6:44PM Good article.
Horde is still better, though :p

Apr 1st 2009 6:49AM To the blog poster, thanks for this. My guild was just having this discussion the other day and it prompted me to post on the forums even. There are some that are vehemently against this idea but it seems to me most of them don't really grasp what they are arguing for.
There really is no reason for 10 man gear to be worse than 25 man. The ONLY possible argument as it currently stands is that its more troublesome to gather 25 people than 10. That is not enough of a reason to award better loot. With the advent of the hard mode bosses, there is no reason to have different loot tables. Just stick the higher quality loot on the hard mode bosses and have everything else the same. Gives the good people something to strive for and keeps everyone else on equal footing.
Currently my guild says they wouldn't want to do 25 mans at all if the gear was the same, and I think that is very telling. Currently we ally up with another guild to do the 25 man stuff but they all very much prefer the 10 man because we are all friends, can be ourselves, and don't have to put up with any sort of loot drama EVER. It is a much more enjoyable experience. The only reason we do 25 man at all is because the gear is better and we want our characters to be the best they can be, of course.
To all you people calling this a bad article, you need to wake up. This is a hot topic currently and I'm glad it is getting some more light shed on it.
Feb 13th 2009 7:33PM After over 30 turn ins, I had yet to get a back. While that may have been "intended" that does not make it fair. Hell, the two achievements they took off of the meta achievement were far easier to achieve. Three of my friends that were all doing the same thing I was had all gotten multiple black dresses and we all have got at least one truesilver arrow... but zero bags of candies.
Might as well have just taken the Be Mine achievement off the meta achievement and put the black dress one back on because it had a MUCH higher drop rate.
I don't think it was so much bending over to QQ as it was realizing a mistake. It was completely unreasonable and anyone who says otherwise is probably arguing that the mask achievement shouldnt have been removed from the Hallows End meta achievement. Keep that in mind as I don't think many people felt that was reasonable at all.
