Mar 30th 2012 6:40AM The thing I like about the wording of this is that it might help if you are leveling as a spec that uses slightly rarer armor, as for an example intellect leather is less common than agi leather from quest rewards, for a good reason of course, that many more specs use agility leather, but this might help me while questing as balance.
Mar 21st 2012 5:46AM Yes, they do stack. So the "optimal" glyphs for affliction is haunt, corruption and unstable affliction, however on heavy multi dot fights glyph of bane of agony can replace unstable affliction

Mar 19th 2012 5:01PM Even if it's more than 3% of max hp with full embers it still feels like much less self damage than what affliction has now, especially as if one looks at the talent calculator as there doesn't seem to be any reason not to clear embers as fast as possible, except maybe if one wants to burst down a spawn in a raid, and in that case one can tell the healers that one will take a little self damage while waiting for the spawn.

Otherwise nUI maybe, if you nix the action bars and reduce the height of the part that's on the bottom of your screen.
A couple of good ways to reduce UI clutter, whether if editing your own or if making one from scratch is to set up addons so they only display what you need to know, and nothing else, for an example if i raid as DPS i don't need to have DBM tell me that tank damaging ability X has N number of stacks on the tank, while if healing or tanking I can have a different profile that shows that. Another way to reduce screen space used is to play having all your combat abilities on hidden action bars, and keybound, and use similar keybinds on all characters. I for an example only have 2 small (6 buttons) action bars, and those are only for my mount, hearthstone and targetting macros. Yet another way could be to set your map to autohide while in combat, to free up even more space,

It can be, depends on a lot of things though, but for an example howling a big freshly rezzed group as a warlock can be a good thing to do, for an example in the case that you are going after their flag carrier, and that can give your team the time to get the flagcarrier down. However it can also be a bad thing to do for an example if you are in AV, and there's nothing to really gain from distracting them for more than 20 seconds or so.
Nov 14th 2011 8:39PM Earlier at least, it's been a 1:1 conversion, and i see no reason why it would change this time. But as of now, I, personally, would recommend you to run heroics, if nothing else for practice, and as you earn a larger sum total of points doing a heroic. And i would also recommend you to spend the points you have now, and then play to cap just maybe 1 week before the patch, as with better gear you can clear heroics faster and earn more points to "bank" for the next patch.
What I'm doing on a less geared alt is capping honor too, planning to convert that into JP after the patch hits, of course for pvp that can be done the opposite way :)
Nov 14th 2011 8:30PM Also, demonic slash sounds much like a melee ability, so are we seeing a close range caster style demonology warlock when metamorphosed (that we already effectively are), and will demo maybe evolve into a mid range spec between melee and full range casters. I would like that change if it's well implemented, as it would be very different to play.
Nov 14th 2011 8:23PM I for one want to see it before I judge it, but to my ears it sounds awesome, as it will make affliction feel a lot more DoT focused compared to now, where most of your time is spent spamming shadowbolt, and i think that's what the devs intend with it.
On a related note, how will it interact with illidans guile (cast while moving with double cast time), as i think that for a channeled spell the time between ticks will double, and if the spell on normal doubles the speed of ticks, will the tick speed become unchanged while moving, or will they reduce the doubling by half (50% faster ticks) which is my guess.
The one who lives will see i suppose.
Oct 9th 2011 12:56PM An EULA is not normally legally binding in most countries, or rather you can't implement rules in an EULA that waives and/or modifies the laws of the country where you live (at least usually you can't there are possibly countries where that's allowed). So if an EULA has a clause about punishment, other than losing the service of course, which the can do anyway, for an example a fine (doesn't exist i think, just pulled an example from where the sun doesn't shine), isn't enforceable.
So all lawsuits that refer to breaches of blizzards ToS or EULA can only be about the laws of the country where the defendant is based.
Of course laws differ, and there are always exceptions to pretty much everything. But that at least is my (limited) understanding of law, of course shaped by where i live.
