Sep 27th 2011 10:46AM Vanilla - Yes! I loved leveling! It felt epic. Hitting levels 40 and 60 was HUGE! Back then, we didn't get mounts until level 40 and scraping together the gold needed to get the mount & riding skill was crazy. I also remember how people actually used to quest in groups. That's so rare these days. I leveled only two characters to 60. My Warrior and my Paladin (who became my main)
BC - Yes, but I felt it wasn't AS exciting. I leveled my Paladin to 70 as fast as I possibly could. I got the flu a few days after BC was released and b/c of it I missed a night of leveling. I ALMOST had my server first level 70 Paladin :( Got three toons to 70. Paladin, Warrior, Shaman. Started on a Priest but never got her too far.
WOTLK - No. It started feeling like too much of a grind. I wanted to hit 80 and be done with it. Leveled 3 toons to 80. Paladin, Warrior, Priest. Shaman I just let sit. This is the first time I felt "alone" in the game as group questing slowly but surely started to fade.
Cata - Terrible. Hated it. Felt like a chore. Leveling alone is depressing. Group leveling doesn't really exist anymore. 80-85 on the first toon was "ok". I got to experience the zones. Second toon from 80-85...I just hauled ass. Third was 70-85, even faster. I now have two more toons to level up but I'm dreading it.
Sep 26th 2011 11:14AM I've already had 10 or so close real life friends friends I've played WoW with for YEARS quit the game "for good" to play SWTOR Beta. They haven't logged onto WoW in 5+ months. I'm pretty much "the last one"...and I've got a Mac, so that's my road block.
Speaking of which, that is a huge mistake on Bioware's part — abandoning Mac users completely. Blizzard definitely did us right by making WoW run great on a Mac from day 1! :D
Sep 26th 2011 9:24AM I'll pass. Not installing anything by M$ on my system. As for trolling, sorry — I just dont RP. There are several aspects of WoW that don't revolve around Roleplaying. I don't pretend my character is some magical hero that has it's own storyline.
Sep 26th 2011 8:49AM Where: Do not care. I don't RP.
When: Bioware releases the Old Republic for Mac.
Sep 23rd 2011 9:40AM JC's will have to collect 150 "Marks of the Dragon" from Daily Quests to unlock a vendor where they can purchase the designs to cut epic gems. Then, to get more — they have to collect ANOTHER 150 marks. This will take approximately 30 days of dailies.
