Sep 18th 2011 11:09AM I was going to say Hogger (so many stories - all ending with my death at his hands...or paws!) but I think it's probably Mor'Laidim - because he is such a complex nemesis. I both love and hate him. Just like I think Clark feels about Lex (certainly in Smallville!!). Wrote about him (Mor'Laidim I mean - not Clark Kent) in my blog on Friday & was surprised at my depth of feeling for the maniac (worrying really!)
Sep 18th 2011 2:09AM You've got me totally excited to try this today. Not quite soloing because my elemental shaman is only 73 but my husband has an 85 Prot warrior & we're going to do it together. Don't know why I haven't thought of it before. I really want to see that content and get old armor sets (actually any armor set- never done raids!).
Sep 17th 2011 9:47AM Hope nobody does take offence. Couldn't resist :) My imagination was running wild! I agree as well - I think tree trimming is a must!!
Sep 17th 2011 9:30AM Crocheting and knitting in addition to tailoring - want to make a nice hat & scarf for Winterspring :)
Horsewhispering/animal psychic communication - to be able to get your mount to run faster and understand why your pet isn't doing what you want
Dentistry- additional skill to first aid. We never think about what toothache could do to a raid :)
Plumbing - we're always being told there is a shortage of plumbers in the world and I've yet to see a good central heating system anywhere in Azeroth (not that Firelands needs it)
I can't think of any more right now but there must be loads. :)
Sep 17th 2011 1:30AM Totally agree with you about needing a healer that isn't asleep. I make my husband heal me and I shout at him from across the room if my green bar is going down too low! He does not take too kindly to that but ho hum! As http://bravetank.wordpress.com shows I have also been known to sneak heals on myself for which I have been greatly criticised by him! But in all honesty my confidence in tanking (such as it is) is only there because I know I can trust him to stay close & keep me healed. And he helps me deal with the annoying dps!!
Sep 16th 2011 3:29PM My Bravetank blog is pretty much about that Chuparex - I started in my 30s and wondered if I was starting too late. It's been great - although not without the scary moments and difficult groups (hence the "Brave" of the blog title!).
If you're interested visit http://bravetank.wordpress.com
It mostly shows what not to do though:)
Matt Walsh- so happy to see this article. It is going to help me so much!! :)
Sep 16th 2011 11:57AM /wave TomeoftheAncient
Husband thinks I'm crazy for saying "Oh TomeoftheAncient" is on here too and acting like I've just met up with a long lost friend :)
Sep 16th 2011 11:51AM Trying this again- can't seem to get this posting business to work...!
I agree with HappyTreeDance (after what she said about my blog I'd agree to anything - thank you HappyTreeDance!)
Just go for it! Start writing. You might not even know what you want to write about until you start. And then you might not be able to stop. And short can sometimes be very good. I try- but I always have something more to say!
Go for it!!!
Sep 16th 2011 8:12AM Oh and my link is
Sep 16th 2011 8:09AM So weird. I blog about WoW. And today I mentioned the Breakfast Topic!! And now you've asked about blogging. Our worlds have collided!! I write about being a new tank, rather scared, sometimes inept (ok pretty much always inept) and the fun I have (plus some marital disputes thrown in because it's cheaper than a marriage guidance counsellor!).
