Apr 3rd 2012 3:43AM I agree with you two... And still would love Fletcher's option. With the mechanics, Godfrey having Illidan and Tyrande at his side, even if pure strenght wasn't enough, even assuming both fighters are able of strategic thinking, Godfrey's intelligence in tactics should be part of his techniques... With the three of them, there's no doubt at least one of them could pull out a plan where they have no choice but to win.
However as it turns, Ikana may be right with the first two views...
Oct 25th 2011 4:49PM (I am sorry for the grammar mistakes... and too, as this isn't great. But at least I hope someone will do better, a lot better, in favour of Lord Godfrey?)
"That is cheating. Against the rules, right?"
Yes, Lord Godfrey had absolutely no remorse in trying to get his opponent disqualified. Tirion sighted, and reminded him that he won last turn thanks to an alternative dimension, added with the fact that a stratege was not someone you could trust for fareplay... This meant "no", but it did not matter. Godfrey would win no matter what: it would not be another troll who would win.
He was slightly angered by the fact Vanessa couldn't even make it to the finals: it looked like human were simply either too stupid or too weak to show what a great race they were. Tss... Well, he, as a former human and simply as himself, was going to execute this beast.
And now it was there (Yes, it, Godfrey would not be so kind to call Zanzil a "he"), grinning in the middle of his three cauldrons. Well, cackling. Laughing. Roaring, exploding into mad laughings. The arena was awfully quiet, only disturbed by the noises of Zanzil mocking his opponent... Godfrey used this time to check carefully, while looking awesomely calm, the troll, and his cauldrons. The troll even tried to taunt him.
It threatened to bring back to life Walden and Ashbury, wondering if he could fire on his friends. Who in hell had gave him this stupid, silly, idea, not to ressurect them (well, if he was smart enough he would know it would backfire on him...) but to think he could give a rat hair of anyone? Especially on those two failures?
Calm, collected, as always. Zanzil pulled off somewhere a blue flag, distracted, and...
Zanzil dead corpse fell on earth, his heart pierced by a shadow bullet slowly cursing his whole body. True enough, the troll was a necromancer, more talented than Godfrey was in this... But he was stupid.
Who in its right mind would give its enemie something to increase their own powers? Lord Godfrey stared icily at the corpse while walking near the fire cauldron, merely touched its content... And two another bullets left the lord's shotgun, turning into giant fireballs, enchanted by their owner curse, enchanted by the fire cauldron. Zanzil dead corpse was soon reduced into ashes...
Godfrey sheated his shotguns. Just turned back to the public, faced Tirion... and bowed his head in salute.
Oct 11th 2011 2:33AM I agree on the devious and clever characters.
For me? Not more than five seconds, with or without fire elementals. Godfrey would just act cool, go behind his opponent and fire right into Foe Reaper's batteries or, destroy completely its CPU, while his ghouls are distracting and getting torn to pieces.
And it would be hilarious as hell to see a robot conducted by a ghoul, like it could have been for the High Priestess... That, or ghouls being torn into pieces so perfectly that some pieces of rotten flesh would block Foe Reaper gearings. Would be stupid too.
I want to see a final between Godfrey and Vanessa, just for the awesome epicness :D
