Jan 4th 2012 10:51AM Every other class with a DPS spec has an above-average spec they can fall back on. Hunters are currently lacking that luxury. Not to say they're completely unplayable, but there aren't in a good spot at the moment.
Jan 4th 2012 10:48AM They had to remove Arcane from LnL since we're swimming in focus with our 2-piece bonus. Hopefully the possible buff to Black Arrow's damage also includes a change in the frequency of ticks (or even have it affected by haste like other classes' DoTs). Explosive Trap's damage is not that much higher than Black Arrow's, but the trap ticks every second as opposed to every 2 seconds, meaning the proc rate of LnL from the trap is twice as high. That's where the DPS increase comes from when using the trap; it's not the damage from the trap itself, it's the higher frequency of LnL procs.
Oh, and gotta have a BM spec? It's the arcane spec of hunters without the decent damage. It's so boring to play! Too bad they cut Rhumba in beta!
Dec 27th 2011 11:20AM The MogIt addon is wonderful, and unlike Model Viewer, there's no need to log out to use it. Plus it will give you an idea of where the items drop.
Dec 27th 2011 11:18AM If you wake up wearing a japanese schoolgirl uniform, it's time to start worrying.
Dec 14th 2011 6:47PM I'm thankful for that "It's not all hunter loot" support group they formed for us. Those two-handed swords and axes are so pretty but I've been behaving and not rolling need.
Dec 7th 2011 1:51PM @Talutha: When you exit the game directly instead of logging out, the game doesn't have a chance to write any changes made to your personal configuration files. This is why if you d/c after changing around your interface, you usually log in to see all of your changes lost.
Dec 7th 2011 1:47PM This should work if you don't wanna fool with another addon for a temporary problem:
Nov 29th 2011 10:31AM Heh. You guys must not have been around for the Blackwing Lair trailer. I thought this one was well done. Short, simple, and to the point.
People will hate on this game for any reason these days. If you're not enjoying it or having fun anymore, it might not just be the game.
Nov 25th 2011 11:46AM Let me correct you OP. They are eliminating the choice between speccing correctly and speccing incorrectly. The only thing they've done as far as changing the current model of changing specs is: first, they removed the need for you to look up the cookie cutter build, and second, they've removed the need for you to actually spend 30 seconds clicking all the talents in said cookie cutter build.
What did they add? Interesting choices to supplement said cookie cutter build.
