Oct 30th 2011 8:15PM So.. The removal of one ability that is unusable for prot, replaced in fury, and a source of contention for arms warriors made you decide the game/Blizzard is bad?

Oct 30th 2011 3:08AM PH is great with off-tank kiting or generally just slowing all mobs in general area, with most trash and some adds in boss fights not being immune to slows. In PvP, as a flag carrier or a node defender, the ability to slow down everyone near you is an amazing ability.
The thing that excites me however... is cripple (rend is a 50% movement impair), this combined with what I assume is now a prot only ability in Blood and thunder (thunder clap spreads rend to all affected targets) = an all in one slow, threat generator, and attack speed slow. :D
Oct 30th 2011 3:03AM I for one like the new talent system and the choice that comes along with it,with the ability to choose shockwave (one of my favorite abilities ever) and other classic warrior abilities no matter what spec I am. I love the choice to choose between abilities in a CC tier, a self-heal tier, a damage increase tier, etc.
Something that I found intriguing though was the reworking of Deadly Calm, going from an all abilities are now free to 3 free Heroic strikes/cleaves? That is a huge shift from the 2 min CD model that partially defined the arms class (and most damage classes, eg Icy Veins, Zealotry, Pillar of frost, etc). This led me to information about enrage effects and an increased emphasis on damage increases from being in an enraged state. This is also interesting because I think I would enjoy higher damage all the time, however in PvP we do not always have the uptime to enjoy the increased damage but need the high burst damage. So the other two options in the tier, bull rush and death wish, both mention enrage effects and increased damage/rage generation without putting numbers forward. I know that there is a lot of time for things to be tweaked but I am VERY interested to see how rage generation and enrage effects are handled in MoP.
Oct 5th 2011 1:38PM I am not sure I want to necessarily write it myself but I too would really enjoy seeing more pvp related content. I think I read earlier that the staff is actually looking for a new writer so I understand the lack of content lately.
It would be awesome if a weekly pvp (daily if we're wishing) article or column came back into consistent/quality existence.
