Mar 29th 2012 6:53PM "Please note that if you don't play a mage or a warlock you probably won't find this as entertaining as you would if you did."
I hope that's not true, because I found that to be pretty dull. A couple of the lines aimed at the mage made me smile (for the record, I play a warlock, and despise those damned dirty mages) but most of it was just so-so. The "punch line" was pretty much non-existent.
Mar 29th 2012 6:18PM Based on what I usually see in Trade Chat, I would have to say no. :)
Mar 15th 2012 3:23PM Two words: Lich King.
I first engaged him during a time when guild wasn't doing any sort of organized raiding. Three months, many failed pug groups, and dozens and dozens (and dozens) of wipes later, my guild (which had finally put together a raid group) brought him down. My guild still occasionally laughs about the primal yell and expletive (NSFW - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fLMTbr9vHns - at about the 10:12 mark, watch your volume) that came from me at the moment that I saw him starting to cast Fury of Frostmourne.
It may seem like an obvious answer to the question, because he was the expansion's end boss, and a lot of people spent a lot of time being killed by him. But no character in the game, before or since, has instilled the sort of continuous need for revenge in me that the Lich King did. I will NOT participate in any run of ICC today (whether it's a fun run, title run, achievement run, whatever) unless it ends with me getting to kill that jerk one more time.
I hope you're burning in hell, Arthas.
Mar 7th 2012 8:34PM I need to strike a blow for my favorite class here, since they're not getting a lot of love in these comments.
I started playing WoW about the time ICC came out. After much deliberation on the character creation screen, I finally selected a warlock. Today, I have that character within sniffing distance of 200 days of /played, 5-digit achievement points, triple digits in mounts and pets, over 50 exalted reps, one legendary item completed with another soon to follow, etc., etc. I can't imagine any other class EVER being my main. Suffice to say, I think I made the right choice for me.
The thing that most people seem to dislike about locks....pet management....is the thing I miss most when I'm on a non-pet class. And I enjoy watching things bleed to death slowly, though I'll admit I've been playing as destro for the majority of Cata.
I've only managed to level one other character to max: a druid, because I found out that I like healing, and being able to run around in tree form all the time (back in WotLK) was fun. I still miss permanent tree form.
To get back on topic, my bank toon is a warrior, the one class I have no intention of ever leveling. Just looks waaaay too boring to me. I've tried a couple of times to level a DK, but have yet to stick with it much past the starting zone. I actually have alts of every class, but none of them have been leveled much at all.
Especially that damned dirty mage.
Dec 23rd 2011 5:44PM Finally, a fish I can catch without having to actually fish in WoW.
Dec 23rd 2011 5:43PM Sure, why not. :)
