Apr 3rd 2012 7:27PM People need to calm down because this whole "sexism" thing is getting out of hand.
It's just like the "office sexism / sexual harassment" stuff where if a male co-worker passes a female co-worker and they happen to touch at the hips, it's suddenly sexual harassment, or when a male co-worker compliments a female co-worker for looking good that day, its sexual harassment. Chill out.
The last thing we need is people crying "sexism / sexual harassment" in a GAME.
I am NOT saying that sexism doesn't exist, it most certainly does and I have a passionate hate for all sexists but you have to draw a line somewhere. Yes, I think that the whole "plate bikini" thing is a bit over the top but I think we can all come to accept that now? It's World of Warcraft, plate bikini's are a THING in WoW. The Ji Firepaw comment? Come on, that's a jokey compliment. I say worse when I say to people "Hey, wanna ride on my rocket?" when I give people lifts on my recruit-a-friend rocket. It's a joke people, it's not being a creep. There is a difference. A creep is that guy who tells you his fantasies about you, who follows you around, etc, you know, being generally CREEPY. Let people have fun and stop crying "OMG SEXISM" every time something is directed towards a female instead of a male, people just look at you and think you're mental for it.
I am male.
I have 2 male friends (mainly because they're officers in my guild).
I have 6 female friends.
I get on better with females and can have more fun in conversation with females, so obviously I'm not a sexist and kind of know what I'm talking about (I would hope!)
Just chill out.
Life is too short to get uppety about silly things like a panda saying you look cute.
Apr 2nd 2012 1:48PM Thank you for putting it into terms we can all understand :)
Apr 1st 2012 6:00AM "BOOOOOOOOOOONESTOOOOOOOOOOOOORM"
We're getting that a lot on Ravencrest-EU. It raises some eyebrows.

Mar 29th 2012 5:46PM This.
And you'll need a lot more than some fancy-pancy doctor, tests, trials and hard evidence to convince the family otherwise!
...If only the whole family played WoW, or any game, together. I can only imagine the amount of could it would do to bring a family together.
Unless the DPS is bad, then GTFO my group, Dad, duh. I've got JP to farm! (/EndSarcasm)
Mar 28th 2012 6:30PM Yes, there is a Tales of the Past I and II but Tales of the Past III kind of tells it's own story enough that you don't need to watch the previous ones (I haven't). There are a couple of things that you perhaps won't necessarily understand (something about a good gnome is something I was lost about) but the machinima-making quality of this movie is absolutely amazing, especially considering how old this machinima is now. It's truly a fantastic machinima and by far my favourite. The story telling is fantastic, the "animation" (if you can call it that? The way the maker uses the models in their setting) is pretty much spot on and the whole feel of the movie is very immersive and keeps you interested throughout. Very impressive and my favourite machinima. I doubt I'll ever prefer any machinima over this.
Yes there are, no you don't have to because it's just plain good.
Mar 23rd 2012 11:25PM THIS. Welcome to BETA - I wish your post was plastered over everything that said "beta" on it. People these days read the word "beta" and translate it to "free early gameplay".
Beta is not for you to jump around and rub it in other peoples faces to say "I got in beta first! Haha, I know about the new expansion before you :)" no, beta is BETA, meaning its to be BETA TESTED. TESTING. Key word the people miss out when you talk about beta. It's to be tested to remove bugs and make sure everything is working on full release.
Please, make people aware that BETA IS BETA and that it is not a free ride into early gameplay - it's a difficult and frustrating testing phase, where any decent person should be reporting all bugs they encounter with as many details as they can muster, at least until the very end of beta where most things have been worked out. THEN you can just enjoy having an early experience.
For those of you complaining you didn't get in first: Good. The fact that you're complaining shows that you only want to get in early so you can see the jiggly panda belly first hand ASAP. If you knew what beta is really like, you'd be happy you weren't some of the first to get in.
Mar 23rd 2012 5:16PM Ach! No! Not more spoilers! Spoilers EVERYWHERE!!!
For this expansion, I'm saving myself from watching / viewing nearly all content so that the Mists of Pandaria experience will be a big adventure, where I know nothing and it's all about discovering. Just like when you first buy the game.
Which means I can't watch YouTube or go to WoWInsider or generally use the internet until Mists comes out, as everyone is putting out content.
Keep up the good work with the content you guys are providing but I'm going to avert my eyes.
Everything in WoW is discovered and figured out before its even released these days, so this time, I'm going to wait for my adventure and discover it all by myself :D!
Mar 23rd 2012 2:27PM Indeed, the Blizzard art team will never give druids an amazing looking set of gear because of the fact you NEVER SEE IT. They're even giving druids back perma-tree form, so why would the art team want to waste time on gear that isn't seen? I've seen more druid armour being transmogged by ROGUES than druids. Until Blizzard allows bears, cats, boomkins and trees to wear armour, druids won't be getting anything too amazing.
....Bears, cats, boomkins and trees in armour.
Make it happen.
