Oct 26th 2011 4:06AM They'll be back once they figure out whatever game they quit and ran off to weren't up to their standards. Nobody walks away from their level 85 toon knowing they can get it up to 90 and stay away for long.

Oct 26th 2011 4:05AM And WOW isn't cartoony? you must be blind.

5 reasons you should love Mists of Pandaria {WoW}

Oct 25th 2011 5:24AM Pandaria fits more in Azeroth than Kezan and those New York/New Jersey Goblins. You try telling people to take WOW seriously...yeah go up to a Goblin "YO!!!" So don't preach about how Pandaren are kiddish and make WOW look less serious when you have those Goblins in the game and singing freaking flower for a pet.

Oct 25th 2011 5:20AM The whole freaking WOW is cartoonish so why should it all of a sudden look cartoonish with the introduction of Pandaria? Everyone and their grandmother was all about collecting vanity pets, even going so far as to pay for it and all of a sudden, having them fight each other in an optional pet battle game; people are bitching about it? Did I forget to say 'Optional'??? Ironically, Pandaria looks damn serious compare to the goofiness of Kezan and the not-as-goofy-but-still silly Gnomeregon. The music, the land, the dungeons of Pandaria all sounds pretty freaking serious to me.

Oct 25th 2011 5:06AM I can see it now:

Horde Pandaren: You talk big talk, Fatty, why not take it outside this Temple and fight me?
Ally Pandera: Umadbro?

Azeroth is a fantasy world, my dear. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Oct 24th 2011 9:34PM For those of us who actually reads or pay attention to the game other than jumping in LFG for the loots, it's understandable that there will some unanswered questions about certain characters and actions and inaction. Being a Horde myself, I wouldn't know much of what's going on in the alliance side of thing. If those quest were faction specific only, I would know zilch about it. Still, I've missed a considered chunk of lore during my being too worry whether I was raid ready while running ZA/ZG for the 100th time. A decision I regret because of some in-guild argument that resulted in an unfavorable /gkick. I want to be able to enjoy the game from lore perspective and able to have a chance to go up against DW. I want that satisfaction of knowing I am part of Azeroth as much as the uber l33t Raiders. And so what if I'm fighting a DW scaled down to heroic level. DW's defeat belongs to everyone who pays for the game. My defeating DW doesn't have anything to do with the next person defeating DW. Do you think perhaps maybe you're skipping out on lore just like I have been skipping out on because we were too busy gearing up?

Oct 24th 2011 7:55PM That is what I was alluding to. While Thrall was busy with the Maelstrom, I don't think anyone came by and whispered into his ears that Cairne is dead. If that sort of thing can only be found by reading a book, then I'm sorry I missed it but I half expected players to at least get to see him emote about it. Maybe he did and I missed that too. However I was always under the assumption that he's been at the Maelstrom all that time.

Oct 24th 2011 7:41PM I wish we had a choice though to either go along with Garrosh warplan against Alliance or help Thrall battle the Mantids/Mogu and prevent the Sha from feeding off the hate of the land. Logically, preventing the sha from being an all out powerful entity is more important than land grabbing and petty fights with the opposing faction. Well, to me at least. I see the war with alliance as pointless from a Horde standpoint because I felt that Alliance hasn't really done anything to me lorewise. I, and most of my fellow Horde's anger are directed mostly toward Garrosh. We have a leader we hate. Now, we're supposed to follow him into the new land to destroy a peaceful race. I'm not down with that. I sure would like at least to be able to fight against Garrosh's army as a Horde. I know that sounds pretty stupid and if I wanted to do that, why don't I just join Alliance blah blah blah. No, I want an insurrection. I'd be the first to join Vol'Jin's campaign to send a black arrow into Garrosh heart but I won't side with Wrynn if he came calling for me to help defeat Garrosh. I have PRIDE you know.

Oct 24th 2011 7:20PM Thrall doesn't know about the death of Cairne yet and that there the Hordes themselves are not ready to tell Thrall in case he loses concentration at the maelstrom back then. Since Thrall's soul is shackled and shattered currently, nobody is any position to tell him until all has been resolved. There will be a time and place after Thrall comes back and noticed that things have gotten worst and Garrosh will have to answer for it.
