Oct 4th 2007 10:25AM Uh, what are all these people talking about? 2.2.3 Will not have any testing needed outside of Blizzards in-house testing crew. It will basically be, turn on speakers kill mob, listen, release.
2.3 Has already been announced to be hitting the Test Realms somewhere between now and next week.
Sep 29th 2007 9:12PM Didn't Spell Penetration used to do what Spell Hit does now? Except Blizzard arbitrarily decided they wanted to separate pvp and pve in patch 2.0.
Jul 23rd 2007 10:08PM Wait... wait... wait for it... Alright
If the game was exactly balanced as people who complain about specific things obviously want, then it would just be a coin flip. a never ending series of coin flips. Save your 15 dollars and just get a quarter if thats how you want to play. Heads you win, tails you lose.
Also... Blackrock mountain... Thats actual instances that somewhat matter. And its just a hop skip and a jump away from an alliance town.
Karazhan... level 70 instance just outside of a lowbie Alliance village, hasn't caused too many problems.
Also, if you don't like pvp, then transfer... it's only 25$. There are lots of guilds recruiting all the time on PVE servers.
Apr 19th 2007 2:07PM Sorry for double posting, but
@3 you can only get up to 1 xp point before level 61. Obviously this is so your example wouldnt happen :P
Apr 19th 2007 2:04PM My friend's getting 10 free wow days off of it... his account was frozen, and he thought he'd try getting the free trial, and it gave him 10 days to play without a gamecard.
Apr 14th 2007 12:04AM Here is what my money is riding on, since there are 3 forms of Illidan in the PTR patch.
First, You fight Illidan, he falls, does the death animation. You go to loot, but instead there's a speech bubble. You end up getting a little conversation, for the lore lovers. Then, arising from the ashes is Illidan in Demon form. He basically wtfpwnz everything in sight the first time because people decide to go on the chat and yell "WE DID IT" instead of drinking and eating in preparation for the battle to come. After wiping, the group comes back prepared for the second fight of Illidan, then this time when they beat him, just before he dies, like at 5%, he clears all debuffs, and sleeps everybody. He then gives his goodbye speech, and leaves. The first corpse will then become lootable. On it will be an epic bow, a epic profession recipe, and 3xtier coins.
Mar 19th 2007 10:32AM When the Blacks or Hispanics do it, they often times screw it up, taking themselves out of the gene pool.
Darwin was the "inventor" (for lack of a better term) of Evolution. He prided himself on researching gene pools. When people end up killing themselves, or dismembering their member, they are then nominated for a Darwin award because they are no longer in the gene pool.
Please, stop playing the Race card. By doing so, you are being just as racist as the ones you accuse, because "only white people can be racist."
Mar 15th 2007 9:23AM I love the armory. I have done pretty much everything you listed. My former main shares her name with about 100 other people around all the other servers. while my current main shares his name with only my other characters that I have parked for 1 reason or another.
I also checked out Leeroy, I told myself I wouldn't, but I had to.
Yesterday my friend and I were doing quests in Tanaris, and we killed a skulled rogue. We wanted to find out why he was so easy, he was wearing level 40 greens at lvl 61. :D
Feb 25th 2007 3:58AM irony much? Magtheridon downed on Magtheridon? I call hax!
Feb 5th 2007 9:21AM My advice
-Go to school
-Go to work
-Hang out with your real life friends
-Play WoW in your /SPARE/ time
Now that thats out of the way
-Roll a Rogue as your first character
-Do not roll a priest with the intention of healing all the way through.
-If you want to do DPS then be a Mage, if you want to heal then be a druid. Feral/Balance druids are frowned upon throughout most of the game.
-Play to have fun. If somebody tells you that you're playing wrong, just say "I'm playing to have fun."
-Do not join an endgame guild unless you want to sell your soul.
