Dev Watercooler: Mists of Pandaria looting explained {WoW}

Mar 28th 2012 5:32AM I'm happy with the new looting and almost everything else.

But grinding dailies for tokens to maybe/eventually/alternative to farming mats?

I dunno, man. If the Molten Front has taught me anything it's that I'd rather farm herbs and ore than do dailies to grind rep/tokens.

I thought they'd learned (from the Molten Front) that rewarding daily quests with epic stuff just instantly made players feel it mandatory to progress?

Getting started with World of Warcraft {WoW}

Mar 8th 2012 12:14PM Also, know what armour type and stats you need on you!

When I first started playing (mid-way through Wrath), I was a level 40-something Boomkin running around with a mix of leather and cloth armour, and a mix of intellect/agility/strength stuff.

I was simply going by the armour rating that I didn't ever stop to consider what the other stats were doing!

Breakfast Topic: Do you enjoy strategic healing? {WoW}

Mar 5th 2012 8:23AM I really enjoyed healing at the start of Cata.

Well actually that's a lie, I hated it. It was tough, difficult, hard, and I was shouted at many times for not healing even when I was OOM.

But that's precisely the reason why I loved it.

Then, gradually, it just became easier. Either due to out-gearing instances or actual encounter designs. It seemed like just spamming heals was the best way to go regardless of whether a player needed them or not.

Around Azeroth: World of Minecraft {WoW}

Oct 20th 2011 10:28AM Ahh, I see the central colours as a yellow/gold shade, and the deep purple as blue.
