Feb 13th 2012 3:31AM That fan made 4.3 trailer gave me chills.... It was amazing.
Feb 8th 2012 5:46AM I must be such a strange end game priest. All I use to heal is VuhDo, a mouse and DroodFocus (from when I was learning cat on my druid, never use it now though, all instinct having tanked/catted for so long).
VuhDo is to have tidy frames, groups are nicely layered and tanks, healers and dps are marked for me. Also means using modifiers and my mouse I can cover my entire toolbox, making everything go smoothly (until my mouse dies of course! but that's what holy nova spam is for. right? ...right?)
DroodFocus, although not class related, has nice big pop-ups when spells/abilities come off CD, eg Pain Sup, PoM, Penance, Shield, etc.
My UI is very plain and I have no clue how to remove/downsize the built-in raid frames or my character panel, but it's worked through DS for me so far without issue. I'll never understand why people think they need bout 30 different addons sometimes, but up to them.
Also, quick question. Do people find it useful to have mana displayed prominently? I never worry about checking mine much, since for the most part I'm sitting either at 20% during heavy healing, 60% for moderate or full for light, and I haven't seen anything that's made me worry about managing my mana by instinct alone. Is that going to come back and bite me?
Jan 24th 2012 2:01AM I agree :D
Almost everybody is saying "Jaina can cast ice blades and freeze him in the spot" then "Morchok can't move while he casts Black Blood". I'm sorry, I didn't know Jaina could cast Ice Blades without blinking a long way away, making them spread out a lot, also moving away from a possible resonating crystal.
If Jaina can spam stuff quickly, Morchok can spam resonating crystals and that consuming Earth thing. Jaina can't get away, is CC'd almost permanently and can't get close to the crystals. Sure Jaina can blink away but since Morchok's thing has no range requirement...
Jan 23rd 2012 9:00PM I love how the Jaina supporters let her use her abilities in any order, any how, and with no cooldown and spamable. So, what if, by the same rules, Morchok spams resonating crystals and keeps pulling her in when she tries to reach them? I'm pretty sure Morchok would win if there's no CD involved.
Even with CD, ignoring player-like actions (eg, kiting, shooting from between pillars), Jaina's Blink CD is on a pretty long CD and she can only use frost blades immediately afterwards. So, if Morchok pulls her in after she blinks, she's kind of stuck there for a while, while she gets chewed up by Black Blood of the Earth.
Jan 23rd 2012 12:58AM sure does! But what's bad about another, what, 70k+ damage for no energy?
Jan 9th 2012 5:46AM Feral tank, all the way.
The raw power, the crushing jaws, the pointy horns sticking out of my head.... It gives me a rush, to throw myself upon an enemy, many times my size, yet proving their equal and more. I love the scared looks on the dps's faces as I demolish their numbers and put them to shame. I love letting healers dps in heroics and self-healing the bosses.
But most of all... I love the ferocity coursing just below my ruffled surface as I gain an all consuming blood-craze.
Jan 9th 2012 4:53AM The Asira or whatever her name is (assassin in HoT) is really fun to solo as a feral tank :) No enrage, only melee damage, smoke bomb incredibly easy to dodge... Almost made to solo methinks.
Nov 23rd 2011 2:49PM No, never do that! The female belf voice is the only one that doesn't drive me insane when it laughs. Besides, what's wrong with them being smug?
Nov 20th 2011 4:32PM Love the priest. Now, let's see how it'll work for Tauren Priests. Wait, no, picture ANY set on a Tauren. Just doesn't work, does it? Especially head pieces.... Which happen to be the best part of T13 priest sets imo.
Oct 31st 2011 6:55AM "...what secondary stats are going to be key..." well, in current content haste and crit are, for feral cats, even in worth (at least as far as I've noticed. To be honest, I do more dps haste-stacked than crit). That means if you stack haste, you still do epic dps, but also cast those spells incredibly fast. A haste-kitty could probably get that 30% buff up in 40% of the time of a crit-kitty.
