Mar 15th 2012 8:13PM I'd love to see daily quests changed to work the way VP from the dungeon finder works. Instead of being offered only 1 quest each day, they'd be offered 7 times a week (or once a week with 7x the reward is another option) so you can choose to do them all in a day or 2 instead of feeling like you HAVE to log or else you'll miss out on something.
I'd also like to see older dailies, ones that aren't current content, be removed from the 25 dailies limit. It's frustrating having to choose between current content dailies and old expansion dailies when I want to level BC/WotLK faction rep via dailies.
Mar 14th 2012 1:45PM and to piggyback on Emma's comment, as a holy paladin, I'd also like to see either less/no more healing/caster axes, or a change to transmog settings to allow for MH axes to be transmogged by 1H axes. Last I checked, not including the MH healing/caster axes introduced in Cata, there are only 3 or 4 other MH axes in the game giving those using one very little options for transmog.
Mar 14th 2012 1:37PM I actually really like this idea! As the one of the only raiders in my guild who can make the seafood magnifique feasts, I really wish there was an option to trade the feasts to other guild raiders so that they aren't suddenly left without any feasts in the event that I can't make the next raid night.
Mar 13th 2012 7:13PM When I first read that I had to double check and make sure it wasn't Mr. Belt who wrote the article haha.
Mar 12th 2012 5:25PM My vote on this one is for Baine simply because if Jaina's anything like the majority of the pugs I've been in, she won't even make it to Baine's platform before face-pulling a pack or two of trash. :P
Mar 12th 2012 5:00PM I've always thought it would be cool to allow crafting professions the option to disassemble gear into useful crafting items based on the quality, armor proficiency and ilvl of the gear, similar in fashion to the way disenchanting a piece of gear works.
I could see it working something along the lines of this: When you pick up a profession, in your profession tab, underneath the icon for that profession there would be another icon that allows you to disassemble or break down an item into useful materials (similar to how inscription has milling). Based on the ilvl and the quality of the gear, you'd get different results. For instance a grey/white cata-ilvl plate piece might disassemble (or would smelt be the proper world here?) into a few bars of elementium where as an epic cata-ilvl plate piece would disassemble into elementium bars but also have the chance to produce say a pyrite bar(s) or truegold bar(s). That way when you upgrade to a new piece of gear, those of us without enchanting would have another option besides just vendoring the obsolete item for a few gold.
Mar 6th 2012 9:20PM I'm sorry, but I'm with Touph on this one, and downvote me on this one if you want but in no way does:
a free anniversary pet and/or a (useless) tabard for being a loyal subscriber for the past 6 or so years = a FREE mount + a FREE upgrade to Cataclysm + a FREE faction and server transfer + 80 FREE levels + 7 FREE days of play time.
Let's do the math on this one:
One mount: $25 (assuming you purchased it in the blizzard store)
Cataclysm expansion: $40
Free Faction Change + Server Transfer: $25 + $30
7 days of free play time: $15/4 = $3.75
At $15.00/month that comes out to 8.25 months worth of game time that someone get's for free. Plus that doesn't even include the $10 for a name change in the event that the server you transferred to already has a character on it with your name OR the price for WotLK in the event that the person receiving the scroll doesn't have it yet.
I'm as much a fan of Blizzard as anyone and I love their games, but this just feels like a kick in the face for those of us who loyally pay our monthly fee.
Mar 2nd 2012 11:26AM Yes, this! I've always thought something along the lines of "For the Lion!" or "We are the Lion!" would be so cool! There's actually a song (albeit a relatively heavy metalcore song) that I think of every time the discussion of an alliance battlecry comes up: Phinehas - "I Am The Lion". Right around the 3:57 mark in the song if you watch the video on youtube, he says "Here I am. You'll know my voice. I am the Lion!" which could be shortened to just "I am the Lion!" but either way I think it's a great battlecry.
Feb 29th 2012 5:45PM Bahahaha yes I mean spacegoats, I have no idea why I typed spacecows.. must be that they both have hooves?
Feb 29th 2012 1:40PM Well regardless of what the alliance's second most important city is, we all know it's not the Exodar. Poor spacecows. :(
