Feb 24th 2012 1:11PM It's not dwarven or orcish females I have a problem with, but Tauren females. Those eyes.. do they ever blink?!
Feb 23rd 2012 11:48PM @7:48 in the first video: /mourn RIP Southshore, you will be missed. :( So many fond memories of SS/TM world pvp battles there.
Feb 23rd 2012 7:55PM Another good option for shaman that fit well with the color scheme is http://www.wowhead.com/item=65488 and since it's from a class quest asking you to go to SFK it's really easy to get.
Feb 22nd 2012 1:45AM Personally I'd like to see the return of Ulduar style heroic modes where you have to do something in order to initiate the heroic setting, as opposed to flipping a switch before you enter and everything is suddenly more difficult than it was on normal. I think this gives people more options when it comes to raiding so that if they're hitting a wall on a heroic attempt they can choose to either continue hitting that wall in hopes of finally breaking it or instead to say "screw it, lets just down this guy regularly without doing X thing so that we can move on to the next guy." I feel these type of "heroic" encounters make for a more engaging and overall enjoyable experience as opposed to some of the ICC style heroic encounters where bosses just have more hp and hit a ton harder so your healers are pulling their hair out and screaming obscenities over vent because the tank just got globalled again.
But in terms of actually nerfing the content, I don't think they should be nerfed directly but I liked the way Blizz handled ICC with the 30% buff, and I think they should continue in that style if they don't reintroduce Ulduar style heroic modes. It offers raiders a choice to use the buff if they're struggling on a certain encounter or turn it off if they'd rather try the encounter as it was originally designed.
Feb 19th 2012 7:33PM In regards to a tanking legendary, so that DKs and bears can also be included, what about the option, before you create the legendary, to choose to create either a tanking 1h axe/sword/mace for pallies and warriors, a 2h axe/sword/mace with tanking stats on it for DKs (parry and dodge), or a staff/polearm (with clearly visible tanking stats: agility + dodge and/or armor rating) for druids? That way each tank spec has the option to choose the legendary that fits them the best, but doesn't also double as a dps weapon in the case of DKs and druids.
Feb 18th 2012 3:14AM You can't forget the "mic's up way too high" guy who's always shouting at the top of his lungs when he first gets on vent "IS THIS THING ON?!?!? HE.. HELLO?!? CAN YOU GUYS HEAR ME?!?"
Feb 17th 2012 1:21PM It would be cool to see guild XP become a function of active members in a guild. Say for instance guild XP per level would be directly proportional to the number of active members in a guild, or the amount of guild XP an active member produces is inversely proportional to the total number of active members in the guild (less members, more guild XP per member). That way a smaller guild with say 15 members can level just as easily as a larger guild with 100+ active members.
Another way to boost small member guilds would be to increase the amount of XP a guild earns by someone doing level appropriate quests, that way lower level toons (which a lot of smaller, low level guilds have been composed of in my experience) can benefit the guild much more.
Feb 16th 2012 11:14PM "Wouldn't This Be Cool?" seriously needs to become a daily WI column! Sort of a cross between KYL, the Queue and Breakfast Topic!
Does it have any relevancy to current WoW news? Not necessarily, but it really brings up some interesting ideas and gets your brain thinking! And besides, it doesn't need to, this is a blog afterall!
Feb 15th 2012 5:53PM Here's to hoping for a chance at a shiny new mount!
