Breakfast Topic: Which race has the best starting zone? {WoW}
Feb 27th 2012 10:15AM Based on the ones I've played so far:
Favorites: Worgen for the emotion and depth of the story, death knight for immersion and execution.
Least favorite: Goblin. The themes of greed and general ickyness just...eeeeh. The quests had some fun mechanics, but the story just didn't do it for me. I deleted my goblin at level 7.

Feb 27th 2012 10:07AM The worgen starting zone had one of the most powerful stories I've ever played through in this game - very well crafted and emotional, with characters I grew really fond of and wish I could see more of (Lorna Crowley, Gwen Armstead, even Genn Greymane himself). I wish I hadn't had to divert my leveling experience on my worgen (who is now my first and currently only 85) to roll a Forsaken to see the continuation of that story.
Also I came in a bit later, after the bugs had largely been worked out, so fortunately it was smooth running for me.
The OverAchiever: Guide to Lunar Festival 2012 achievements, part 2 {WoW}
Jan 24th 2012 11:17AM At level 84, I'm gaining 28,980 xp per elder (no heirlooms), plus a bit of Alliance and guild rep. It's a slow way to level due to travel time, but decent enough if you're not in the mood to quest or you still have areas you need to explore. :)
Breakfast Topic: What was your most memorable noob moment? {WoW}
Dec 2nd 2011 10:07AM BC-era Zul'Aman, at level 70, I did not have targeted who I thought I did and accidentally misdirected Malacrass's trash onto our DPS warrior instead of our bear tank. Epic wipe ensued, also hilarity.
Yeah, I never quite lived it down. I was the butt of good-natured n00b hunter teasing for quite some time. XD
