Why is Blizzard still OK with gender inequality in World of Warcraft? {WoW}
Apr 3rd 2012 5:09PM Oh, a quick p.s. on the topic of getting creepy comments, etc when on female characters.
I have experienced more of those back when my Worgen was still a male than I ever did on my female Blood Elf. Strange.
Why is Blizzard still OK with gender inequality in World of Warcraft? {WoW}

I occasionally use "skimpier" armor sets on my characters, but only to amuse myself. They are back to being fully dressed within a few days that way. :)
Now, I was truly taken aback when I first saw screenshots of Ji's different comments on the PC male/fem Pandaren - definitely a creepy vibe going on here.
This impression hasn't diminished no matter how often I view those pictures over and over. :/ Not a good thing in my eyes...
Aside from this, I was thrilled back when Blizz released the silhouette of the fem Pandaren - lovely curves, might really fit with the males.
Oh how wrong I was.
In my opinion, the female Pandaren look like creepy child-like "toys", with their :3-smile, vacant stare and over-the-top idle and laugh animations. Cute is good, when it is applied in balanced measures.
Clearly someone dumped a whole truck of "kawaii" over the model and left it dripping sparkles and rainbows onto the Wandering Isle.
A race known for its serenity, peacefulness, balance and, yes, love of a good strong drink - and yet the females resemble small giddy children prancing around carelessly, none of which appearance-wise taking the role of wise crones, stern warriors or calm, content sages. It's like the females never even saw a piece of the battles their race participated in.
And yes, I know the models aren't finished yet, but I truly hope that Blizzard decides to implement a greater variety of choice when picking "faces". NOT a variety only in markings/fur patterns, but in facial expression through different muzzles, eyes, etc.
Then again, looking at the Worgen... *sighs sadly*

Apr 1st 2012 5:32AM I just got up and in my sleepy haze totally thought this was legit... then I remembered what day it is. D:<
I would totally get these for myself if they were real though.

So when did Benedictus get a gender change? ;)
Anyhow, these intros are awesome - keep them up, I beg of you!
And thanks to this column I now want to gear my feral offspec. :/
Drama Mamas: The case of the disreputable doppelganger {WoW}
Jan 2nd 2012 3:08PM there is a lvl 62 DK with the same name that I gave my lvl 85 DK (both are female Belfs amusingly) and I already found my normal internet-handle being used at a forum unknown to me. As long as people are able to distinguish between me and the others I don't even care that much about my Doppelgänger (...yet).

Jan 2nd 2012 9:06AM I got the Meta-Achievement, which always makes me happy. And although Lumpy escaped my grasp, I received both the Raven Lord and the Blue Proto-Drake last night. I guess that makes up for it. :D
